Health Ministry has released the guidelines for Re opening Private tuition classes. Outside the western province tuition classes ac be re opened after 25th of January 2021 and in western province can be opened after 2 weeks of school re opening / Once the GCE O/L Exam completed in March 2021.

School Management Guideline For Principals

Education Ministry has published 3rd edition of School Management Guidelines for Principals. It Consists of 14 topics and very useful for principals.

The first edition was released in 1983 and second was in 1985. The Amended Third edition has been released in 2020.

This handbook available in both Sinhala and Tamil Medium.

Collecting Information on GCE O/L Exam 2020

Survey conduct by the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka regarding the G.C.E. O/L Examination due to be held in January 2021

The purpose of this form is to collect data about units (on subjects and mediums relevant to the G.C.E. O/L examination) covered at the schools as teaching activities may not have been able to carry out as normal due to the covid-19 pandemic.
