The National Library and Documentation Services Board has declared October as the national Reading Month. In Relation to this, the NLDSB has decided to offer one year free membership of the National Library to Sri Lankan readers during the National reading Month in October, this year.

Applications forms can be obtained from the main counter of the reader services division. All Srilankans, irrespective of any limitations are eligible for membership.

வருட இறுதி மற்றும் ஆசிரியர் தினம் போன்றவற்றின் போது ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்க என வகுப்பு ரீதியாக பணம் சேகரிக்கப் படுவது தொடர்பாக கல்வி அமைச்சுக்கு அறியப்படுத்தப் பட்டுள்ளது.

இது தொடர்பாக இதற்கு முன்னால் அறிவுறுத்தல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்ட போதும் கூட சில குழுக்களால் பெற்றோரிடம் இருந்து பணம் அறவிடப்பட்டு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்கப்படுவதும், ஆசிரியர்கள் பெற்றுக் கொள்வதும் தொடர்ந்து நடைபெற்ற வண்ணம் உள்ளன.

இவ்வாறான சந்தர்ப்பங்களின் போது பொருளாதார ரீதியில் பின் தங்கிய பெற்றோர்கள் அசௌகரியங்களுக்கு உள்ளாவதுடன், அவர்களின் பிள்ளைகளும் மன உளைச்சலுக்கு உள்ளாகின்றனர். இதனை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு அதிபர், ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்கள், பணம் சேகரித்தல் தொடர்பாக எவருக்கும் அனுமதி வழங்காதிருப்பதுடன் பெற்றோர்களிடம் இருந்து ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வெகுமதிகள் வழங்கள் ஒழுக்காற்று நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டிய தவறு ஆகும்.

இவ்வாறான நடவடிக்கைகளை தடுப்பது அதிபர் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களின் பொறுப்பாகும்.

இவ்வாறான செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு தாபன விதிகோவை மற்றும் இலஞ்ச மோசடி சட்டத்தின் கீழ் தண்டனை பெறக் கூடிய குற்றமாகும். இதனைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு செயற்படவும்.

Held annually on 5 October since 1994, World Teachers’ Day commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers. This Recommendation sets benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers and standards for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions. The Recommendation concerning the Status of Higher-Education Teaching Personnel was adopted in 1997 to complement the 1966 Recommendation by covering teaching and research personnel in higher education.

In 2019, World Teachers’ Day will celebrate teachers with the theme, 

“Young Teachers: The future of the Profession.” 

The day provides the occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide, to take stock of achievements, and to address some of the issues central for attracting and keeping the brightest minds and young talents in the profession.

The official event will take place on Monday, 7 October at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in collaboration with the convening partners, including UNICEF, UNDP, the International Labour Organization and Education International and will be celebrated globally with various events.

රාජ්‍ය භාෂා ප්‍රවීණතා විභාග සමත්වන්නන් වෙනුවෙන් රාජ්‍ය භාෂා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් නිකුත් කරන ලද ප්‍රතිඵල සටහන්,ප්‍රතිඵල සටහන්ලාභීන් අතින් අස්ථාන ගත වුවහොත් ඔවුන්ගේ ඉල්ලීම පරිදි අනුපිටපතක් නිකුත් කරනු ලැබේ. තවද වෙබ් අඩවිය හරහා විභාගයට අයදුම් කරන අවස්ථාවල දී විභාග අපේක්ෂකයන් අතින් සිදුවන වැරදි හේතුවෙන් ප්‍රතිඵල සටහන්ලාභින්ගේ නම් සංශෝධනය කිරීමට සිදු වේ.එවැනි අවශ්‍යතා සහිත නිලධාරීන් පහත ක්‍රමවේදය අනුගමනය කරන මෙන් දන්වමි.

அரசகரும மொழித்தேர்ச்சிப் பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்தோருக்காக அரசகரும மொழிகள் திணைக்களத்தினால் வழங்கப்படும் பெறுபேற்றுச் சான்றிதழ்கள், அச் சான்றிதழ் உரிமையாளரால் காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்டிருப்பின், அவரின் வேண்டுகோளின் படி, சான்றிதழின் பிரதியொன்று வழங்கப்படும். மேலும், இணையத்தளம் ஊடாக பரீட்சைக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் பரீட்சார்த்திகள் இழைக்கும் தவறினால் சான்றிதழ்களில் பெயர்களைத் திருத்தஞ் செய்யவேண்டியுள்ளன. அவ்வாறான தேவைப்பாடுடைய உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் பின்வரும் முறைகளை பின்பற்றவும்.

• මෙම වෙබ් අඩවියේ දක්වා ඇති අනුපිටපත් ලබාගැනීමේ ආකෘතිය මුද්‍රණය කර අදාළ තොරතුරු සම්පූර්ණ කළ යුතු ය. 
• අනුපිටපතක් ලබා ගැනීම සඳහා රු. 500.00 ක මුදලක් ගෙවිය යුතු අතර එම මුදල රාජ්‍ය භාෂා කොමසාරිස් ජනරාල් නමින් රාජගිරිය ලංකා බැංකුවේ 7041541ගිණුමට බැර කළ යුතු ය.
• මුදල් ගෙවීම් කිරීමේ දී අදාළ මුදල් තැන්පතු කුවිතාන්සියේ ගෙවීම් විස්තරයෙහි “R/S COPY” (Result Schedule copy) යන කෙටි යෙදුම සඳහන් කරමින් ගෙවීම් සිදු කර බැංකු රිසිට්පතක් ලබා ගත යුතු ය.
• මුද්‍රණය කර සම්පූර්ණ කරන ලද අයදුම් පත්‍රයෙහිමුදල් ගෙවූ රිසිට්පත නොගැලවෙන සේ අමුණා ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑලෙන් පහත ලිපිනයට එවිය යුතු ය.(අයදුම් පත්‍රයෙහි හා මුදල් ගෙවූ රිසිට්පතෙහිඡායා පිටපතක් සහ ලිපිය ලියාපදිංචි කළ කුවිතාන්සිය සුරැකිව තබා ගන්නා මෙන් කාරුණිකව දන්වමි.)

• இவ் இணையத்தளத்தில் உள்ள பிரதியைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கான படிவத்தை பிரதி எடுத்து உரிய தகவல்களைப் பூர்த்தி செய்தல் வேண்டும்.
• பிரதியொன்றைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்வதற்காக ரூ. 500.00 இனை அரசகரும மொழிகள் ஆணையாளர் நாயகத்தின், இலங்கை வங்கி - ராஜகிரிய கிளை, 7041541 என்ற கணக்கிலக்கத்திற்கு வரவு வைத்தல் வேண்டும்.

නම් සංශෝධනය කිරීම/பெயரில் திருத்தஞ் செய்தல்.

• ජාතික හැදුනුම්පතෙහි සහතික කරන ලද ඡායා පිටපතක් ආයතන ප්‍රධානියා විසින් සහතික කර එවිය යුතු ය.
• නමෙහි වෙනස සම්බන්ධයෙන් ලබා ගන්නා ලද දිවුරුම් ප්‍රකාශයක් 
• ආයතන ප්‍රධානියා විසින් සහතික කරන ලද කාර්යාලීය හැදුනුම්පතෙහි ඡායා පිටපතක්.
• ඉහත සියලු ඇමුණුම් නොගැලවෙන පරිදි අමුණා පහත ලිපිනයට එවිය යුතු ය.(ප්‍රතිඵල සටහනහා මුදල් ගෙවූ රිසිට්පතෙහි ඡායා පිටපතක් සහ ලිපිය ලියාපදිංචි කළ කුවිතාන්සිය සුරැකිව තබා ගන්නා මෙන් කාරුණිකව දන්වමි.)
