Education ministry have released the transfer list of non academic staff for the year of 2018. It Includes the current working place and the transferred place. This transfer will be effect form 02.04.2018. if anyone need to appeal against this transfer please forward you appeal according to the format on or before 20.03.2018.

Please concern about the circular letter before going the transfer or for the appeal of the transfer.

Program for Guaranteed Thirteen Years of Education to provide Education for All

Introduction and Background

Sri Lanka has a significant progress record on achieving access and participation in primary and secondary education over the last decades. Yet, thousands of students leave the education system either at or before GCE O/L without obtaining proper knowledge, skills necessary for further education, their lives and world of work.

The 13 years of mandatory education policy proposal has been developed as an immediate solution for the above issues. This program will supportto develop technical, vocational and social skills of all children’s skills which need to contribute to the effective economic development of the country. Therefore, new vocational stream for GCE A/L will introduced to develop the skills and protect the right to education of all children

Diploma in Technology at Open University of Sri Lanka – (Mechanical) or

Admission - Sri Lanka Law College

Application forms for admission of students for the academic year 2019 will be available from 5th March 2018 to 5th April 2018 in the Sri Lanka law College office on any working day between 9.00 am and 12 .00 noon and 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm.

Entry Qualifications

The minimum Educational qualifications to sit the entrance examination are as follows

Passes 3 subjects at one and the same sitting at the G.C.E.A/L Examination. The subjects should be those approved by the incorporated council of legal education

2. Credit passes in English language AND Sinhala /Tamil at G.C.E.O/L Exam

Open University. Postpone of academic activities

All Academic Activities, Examinations, Selection Tests, Student Registrations of the OUSL scheduled from 28/02/2018 to 11/03/2018 have been postponed. New dates of Selection Tests for Bachelor of Law (LLB) & Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) will be announced in the press and OUSL website

all academic activities, examinations / selection tests, student registrations and other activities, of the Open University of Sri Lanka scheduled from 28.02.2018 to 11.03.2018 have been postponed due to the ongoing trade union action in Universities.
