GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Salaries will be paid according to the Management Service Department Circular No. MSD/02/2016 issued by Management Service Department. The adjustment allowance and cost of living allowance will be paid in addition to the salary mentioned above. 
• The upper age limit does not apply to candidates from the Public Sector, Corporations, Statutory Boards, Government Departments and National Institute of Education.

• These Posts are permanent and the selected candidates will contribute 8% of their salary to EPF and the Institution will contribute 12% to EPF and a further 3% to ETF.

• Pass the GCE (O/L) Examination in not more than two (02) attempts with Eight (08) Simple Passes and Five (05) “C” passes for Mathematics, Science, English and Sinhala/Tamil in one (01) sitting. Fifth “C” Pass can be obtained for any subject.& Three (03) simple passes at the GCE (A/L) Examination not more than Three (03) attempts with 30% marks in the General test in one (01) sitting.

Non Degree Course:

• Pass the GCE (O/L) Examination in not more than Two (02) attempts with Eight (08) Simple Passes and Five (05) “C” passes for Mathematics, Science, English and Sinhala/Tamil in one (01) sitting. Fifth “C” Pass can be obtained for any subject.

Basic Qualifications

• Age - Between 18 - 22 years as on the date of enlistment.
• Height - 5’ 6”.

• Weight- 50 Kg.

• Chest - 32”.
• Marital Status
• Unmarried.

Selection Criteria (Female)Minimum Educational Qualifications

• GCE (O/L) Examination - Six (06) passes including Sinhala or Tamil at one sitting. 
• Credit passes in any four (04) subjects including English Language.
• Pass in Mathematics (Those who have obtained four credit passes including English Language and a pass in Mathematics in not more than two (02) sittings including the sitting in which they qualified in six subject will be eligible to apply).
• GCE (A/L) Examination - Two (02) passes in GCE (A/L) at one sitting.

Basic Qualifications

• Age - Between 18 - 22 years as on the date of enlistment.
• Height - 5' 2".
• Marital Status Unmarried.
