A Special Gazette has been released amending the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service.
The eligibility criteria for the post of Provincial Director of Education have been revised. Previously, applicants were required to be a SLEAS Grade I officer with five years of experience. Under the new amendment, the five years of experience are no longer required — any SLEAS Grade I officer is now eligible for the post of Provincial Director of Education.
