The Open / Limited Competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Translator - Grade II (Sinhala/English, Sinhala / Tamil and Tamil/ English) at the Department of Official Languages which was postponed due to adverse weather conditions prevailing in the country at that time, will now be conducted on 10, 11 and 12 March 2026 at the Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala, Nugegoda.

Please note that the papers, Tamil Language and Tamil Translation, previously held for this examination on 27.11.2025 are cancelled. Accordingly, the candidates who appeared for these papers are required to re sit the same subjects.
