Department of Business Management

Lecturer (Tenure Track)

Applicants must hold:

• A four-year bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Marketing with 1st or 2nd Class Upper Honours OR

• A 3-year bachelor’s degree with 1st or 2nd Class Upper Honours OR

• A pass in a four-year degree and a master’s degree at SLQF Level 9 in Business Management/Marketing.

A minimum of one year experience in teaching at undergraduate level or satisfactory industrial experience with evidence of research output is required.

Duties include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising student research, engaging in academic research and publishing, contributing to curriculum development, providing academic guidance, participating in departmental activities, and supporting administrative and quality assurance processes.

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE

Department of Civil Engineering

Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade)

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with First or Second Class Honours

• Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum six years of proven experience in teaching, research, or industry practice after completing bachelor’s degree

• Strong publication record in reputed journals and significant professional contributions

Lecturer (Tenure Track)

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 1st or 2nd Class Honours OR

• 3-year bachelor’s degree with 1st or 2nd Class Honours OR

• A pass in a four-year degree and a master’s degree at SLQF Level 9 in Civil Engineering

Minimum one year teaching/industry experience with evidence of research output required.

FACULTY OF COMPUTING

Department of Information Technology

Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade)

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with First or Second Class Honours

• Doctoral degree in Information Technology

• Minimum six years teaching/research/industry experience

• Strong publication record and professional contributions

Lecturer (Tenure Track)

• 1st or 2nd class honours bachelor’s degree OR

• 1st or 2nd class honours three-year bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree at SLQF Level 9 equivalent or above in relevant specialization

Minimum one year teaching/research/industry experience with evidence of research output required.
