The University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka has invited applications from eligible Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Vice-Chancellor. Applications should reach the Registrar, University of Moratuwa on or before 3.00 p.m. on 21 April 2026. ✅ Basic Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Should be less than 63 years of age by closing date
- Must demonstrate academic excellence and strong research profile
- Should possess proven leadership and managerial competence

- Promote academic excellence, transparency and accountability
- Implement sound management policies and Council decisions
💰 Salary & Allowances
Eligible to be placed on the highest academic salary scale and for an entertainment allowance of 15% of the basic salary, with other applicable allowances according to prevailing rules and regulations.

- Brief account of what the candidate proposes to achieve if appointed
