Student Enrollment for the Academic Year 2017/2018 - Ocean University Ocean university of Sri Lanka started the admission for the academic year 2018/19. Applications are called for five degree programs.
- B.Sc. In Marine Engineering(Shore Based)
- B.Sc. In Marine Engineering(Merchant Navy Sea Farer Career )
- B.Sc. In Fisheries and Marine Science
- B.Sc. In Maritime Transportation Management & Logistics
- B.Sc. In Coastal and Marine Resources Management
B Sc. in FISHERIES and MARINE SCIENCES (General/ Hons)
Students will be selected for three year general degree in Fisheries and Marine Sciences. Upon the performances of the three year general degree, only the highly-performed students will be eligible for the fourth year that leads to the Honors degree in Fisheries and Marine Sciences.
- At least three “S” grades obtained from the GCE (A/L) 2017 in one sitting (within a maximum of three attempts) in Biological Science stream along with credit passes for English and Mathematics at GCE (O/L). Selection of students will be determined on the basis of rank order on average Z-score obtained by the candidates.
B Sc. in MARINE ENGINEERING- shore-Based (Hons) AND B Sc. in MARINE ENGINEERING- Sea Farer (Hons)
Entry Requirement- At least three “S” grades obtained from the GCE (A/L) 2017 in one sitting (within a maximum of three attempts) in Physical Sciences stream including Combined Mathematics.
- Selection of students will be determined on the basis of rank order on average Z-score obtained by the candidates.
B Sc. in COASTAL and MARINE RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (General/ Hons)
Students will be selected for the three year general degree in Coastal and Marine resources management. Upon the performances of the three year general degree, only the highly-performed students will be eligible for the fourth year that leads to the Honor degree in Coastal and Marine Resources Management.
- At least three “S” grades obtained from the GCE (A/L) 2017 in one sitting (within a maximum of three attempts) in any subject stream along with credit passes for English and Mathematics at GCE (O/L).
- Selection will be done through an Aptitude Test
B Sc. in MARITIME TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT and LOGISTICS(General/ Hons)
Students will be selected for the three year general degree in Maritime Transportation Management and Logistics. Upon the performances of the three year general degree, only the highly-performed students will be selected for the fourth year that leads to the Honor degree in Maritime Transportation Management and Logistics.
