Post: Senior Lecturer Grade II / Lecturer (Probationary)

🎓 Qualifications

Lecturer (Probationary)

Applicants must possess one of the following:

A Degree with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honors in a relevant subject
OR
A Second Class (Lower Division) Honors Degree with at least 01 year of teaching/research/professional experience
OR
A Degree without Honors + a Postgraduate Degree (minimum 02 academic years with research component)
OR
A recognized professional qualification + Master’s Degree (minimum 01 year) + 05 years professional/teaching experience
OR
A recognized professional qualification + 08 years professional and/or teaching experience

Senior Lecturer Grade II

Applicants must:

Fulfill qualifications required for Lecturer (Probationary)
AND
Possess a Master’s Degree (minimum two academic years with research component) or Doctoral Degree
AND
Have at least six (06) years of experience in one or more of the following:
- University/Higher Education teaching
- Professional experience in recognized institutions
- Research
- Postgraduate studies

💰 Salary Scale

U-AC 3 – 2025

Rs. 94,400 – 187,820 (w.e.f. 01.01.2027)

Basic Salary (as of 01.01.2026):

Lecturer (Probationary): Rs. 83,970 p.m
Senior Lecturer Grade II: Rs. 121,613 p.m

Allowances include:

Cost of Living Allowance
Other applicable allowances

Permanent appointment
