Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years as at 20.04.2026
Educational Qualifications
Must have passed at least six (06) subjects with two (02) credits in the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in not more than two sittings.
Other Qualifications
Applicants must be of good character.
Applicants convicted of a defamation of character by any court of law will be considered a complete disqualification for appointment.
Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Recruitment Method
Selection will be based on merit through a structured interview.

Educational Qualifications - 25 Marks
Technical and Vocational Skills - 35 Marks
Sports - 15 Marks
Character Development and Leadership - 15 Marks

Educational Qualifications

Other Qualifications
Must have completed a course in Electrical Wiring from a government recognized institute.
Must have at least one year of experience in operating electric and diesel water pumps at a government-recognized institute.
Must be of good character.
Being convicted of a defamation of character by any court of law shall be a disqualification for appointment.
Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

Professional Test and Structured Interview
Interview Eligibility
Only candidates who score over 40% in the Professional Test will be called for the Structured Interview.
