The National Police Commission of Sri Lanka invites applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Legal Officer – Grade III (Executive Service Category). Number of Vacancies: 01

📋 Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification ✔ Must be sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka Experience ✔ Minimum 03 years professional experience after being sworn in as Attorney-at-Law OR ✔ Minimum 03 years experience in a legal position in a Government Institution Examples of legal duties: • Handling legal matters related to agreements • Legal matters related to Acts and Ordinances • Documentation of legal documents • Liaising with the Attorney General’s Department • Participating in legal investigations

💰 Salary Scale

Salary Scale: Rs. 82,150 – 195,970 (SL-I-2025) Additional Benefit: ✔ Incentive allowance of 1/5 of the basic salary

📅 Age Limit

Applicants must be: ✔ Not less than 21 years ✔ Not more than 45 years (as at the closing date of applications)

📊 Selection Method
