State Counsel Recruitment 2025 – Public Service Commission (Attorney General’s Department)
The Public Service Commission under the Ministry of Justice and National Integration invites applications for recruitment to the post of State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Department – 2025.
Applications are invited to fill up to 32 vacancies at the Attorney General’s Department, Colombo 12. Applications must be sent by registered post to the address mentioned in the official notice. The post of “State Counsel – 2025” should be clearly indicated on the top left corner of the envelope.
Closing Date
Applications must be submitted on or before 28.02.2026.
Method of Recruitment
Structured Interview
Candidates who qualify will be shortlisted based on merit.
Conditions of Employment
Permanent and pensionable post
Three (03) years probation period
Subject to Public Service Commission rules and regulations
Salary Scale
AGSA 2-2025: Rs. 131,300 – 10 x 2,940 – 160,700 per month
Qualifications
- Must be an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka
- Educational qualifications and relevant experience will be considered
Age Limit
Candidates must be not less than 22 years and not more than 35 years as at the closing date of applications.
