Applications are called from eligible applicants in Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Medical Service (Administration - Grade I) for the post of Provincial Commissioner of Ayurveda in the Department of Ayurveda of Western Province Only if qualified officers of the Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Medical Service (Administration - Grade I) are not available to be appointed to this position, applications are also called from officers of the Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Medical Service (Administration - Grade II) to attend to duties of the relevant post until an officer is permanently appointed to that post.
Applicants who meet the basic qualifications will be referred to a structured interview and the relevant appointment will be made based on the priority of the marks obtained therein.
All applications should be sent by registered post to the address "Secretary to the Governor of the Western Province, Governor's Office, No. 204, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla" through the Heads of their institutions

On the top left corner of the envelope "Application for the post of Commissioner of Ayurveda, Western Province" should be marked.
