🇬🇧 School Term Schedule 2027

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has released the official School Term Schedule for the year 2027 through Circular No. 31/2026.

Separate school calendars have been announced for Sinhala and Tamil schools and Muslim schools.

🏫 197 School Days
The Ministry has planned 197 school days for the 2027 academic year.

📘 Sinhala & Tamil Schools

1st Term

04 January 2027 – 09 April 2027

🏖️ Vacation: 10 April – 25 April 2027

2nd Term

26 April 2027 – 30 July 2027

🏖️ Vacation: 31 July – 29 August 2027

3rd Term

30 August 2027 – 03 December 2027

1st Term – First Phase
04 January 2027 – 05 February 2027

Vacation: 06 February – 14 March 2027

📌 Important: New Grade 12 classes for the 2027 academic year are scheduled to commence on 15 June 2027.

📌 Important Information

🏫 A total of 197 school days have been planned for 2027.

🎓 The 2027 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is planned to be conducted during August 2027.

📝 The 2027 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination is planned to be conducted during December 2027.

🌐 Any amendments to the school term schedule will be officially announced by the Ministry of Education through www.moe.gov.lk.

🇱🇰 2027 පාසල් වාර සටහන

අධ්‍යාපන, උසස් අධ්‍යාපන සහ වෘත්තීය අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් 2027 වර්ෂය සඳහා පාසල් වාර සටහන අංක 31/2026 දරන චක්‍රලේඛය මගින් නිකුත් කර ඇත.

සිංහල හා දෙමළ පාසල් සහ මුස්ලිම් පාසල් සඳහා වෙන් වෙන්ව පාසල් වාර දින නියම කර ඇත.

📘 සිංහල හා දෙමළ පාසල්

පළමු වාරය: 2027.01.04 – 2027.04.09
දෙවන වාරය: 2027.04.26 – 2027.07.30
තෙවන වාරය: 2027.08.30 – 2027.12.03

☪️ මුස්ලිම් පාසල්

පළමු වාරය අදියර කිහිපයකින් පැවැත්වෙන අතර දෙවන වාරයද අදියර දෙකකින් පැවැත්වේ.

තෙවන වාරය: 2027.08.30 – 2027.12.03

🏫 2027 වර්ෂයට පාසල් දින 197ක් සැලසුම් කර ඇත.

2027 වර්ෂයේ නව 12 ශ්‍රේණි පන්ති 2027.06.15 දින ආරම්භ කිරීමට නියමිතය.

🇱🇰 2027 பாடசாலை தவணை அட்டவணை

கல்வி, உயர் கல்வி மற்றும் தொழிற்கல்வி அமைச்சினால் 2027 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான பாடசாலை தவணை அட்டவணை சுற்றுநிருப இலக்கம் 31/2026 மூலம் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சிங்கள மற்றும் தமிழ் பாடசாலைகளுக்கும் முஸ்லிம் பாடசாலைகளுக்கும் தனித்தனியான தவணை நாட்கள் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

முதலாம் தவணை: 2027.01.04 – 2027.04.09
இரண்டாம் தவணை: 2027.04.26 – 2027.07.30
மூன்றாம் தவணை: 2027.08.30 – 2027.12.03

☪️ முஸ்லிம் பாடசாலைகள்

முதலாம் தவணை பல கட்டங்களாகவும், இரண்டாம் தவணை இரண்டு கட்டங்களாகவும் நடைபெறும்.

மூன்றாம் தவணை: 2027.08.30 – 2027.12.03

🏫 2027 ஆம் ஆண்டில் 197 பாடசாலை நாட்கள் நடத்துவதற்குத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

2027 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான புதிய தரம் 12 வகுப்புகள் 2027.06.15 ஆம் திகதி ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
