Applications are invited by the Sri Lanka Transport Board from persons who have fulfilled the following qualifications for the undermentioned posts relevant to the technical division for which vacancies exist in our

SLTB which is a State passenger transport institution where there is a workforce of over 25,000 consisting of 105 depots throughout the island and associated Regional Workshops and Driving Schools.

• Foreman

• Technician

• Mechanic

• Fuel Pump Technician

• Welder

General Conditions and Facilities Afforded

• These posts are permanent
• Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties entrusted to the post and to serve in any part of the island.
• Will be deployed in service on shift basis after recruitment
• Recruitment will be made after an interview as per the procedures of the Board
• Those who are interested in applying for the above posts should self prepare an application as per the specimen given below and the applications should be sent by registered post addressed to "Chief Human Resources Manager, Sri Lanka Transport Board, No. 200, Kirula Road, Narahenpita, Colombo 05" to receive before 26.01.2026.
• Post applying for should be mentioned on the left top corner of the envelope containing the applications and it is mandatory to submit the School Leaving Certificate (Students Progress Report) at the interview.
