Department of Examination has released a special announcement on GCE O/L 2025 Exam Admission Card.
It is hereby notified that the G.C.E. (O.L) Examination is scheduled to be held from 17th February to 26th February 2026.
Admission cards of school candidates of this examination have been already posted to the heads of respective schools and to the addresses of private candidates as provided in their applications.
It is hereby notified that the admission cards sent to the heads of schools should be handed over to relevant candidates immediately and should not be delayed for any reason.
Admission cards can be downloaded through the official website www.doenets.lk from 05.02.2026 for private candidates who have not yet received admission cards by post.
Any private applicant who has not received admission card or could not download yet should visit the Department of Examinations with a photocopy of the application, a photocopy of the receipt for payment of examination fee or a certified letter obtained from the Post Master confirming the payments of examination fee.
Any changes to be made in the subject, medium or name cited in the admission cards received by
Principals or private candidates,
- Should be amended online accessing the website http://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic.
- Only one attempt of revision will be given to each candidate.
- Examination centres in this examination will not be changed.
- The duration offered for changes will be concluded at 12.00 midnight on 10.02.2026.
The National Identity Card issued by the Department of Registration of Persons, a valid Passport or a valid Driving License will be accepted as a valid document to prove identity of a candidate at this examination.
