About Colombo Marathon 2026

Colombo Marathon 2026 is held under the theme “Steps for Peace and Humanity.” The event seeks to promote peace, unity, mutual respect and cooperation among people from different cultures, nations and communities through sport.

By bringing local and international participants together, the marathon demonstrates the ability of sport to connect people around a common purpose while encouraging friendship, social harmony and healthy lifestyles.

The event also supports the promotion of Sri Lanka as an international sports and tourism destination by highlighting the country’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, traditions and hospitality.

“සාමය සහ මනුෂ්‍යත්වය සඳහා පියවර” යන තේමාව යටතේ පැවැත්වෙන කොළඹ මැරතන් තරගය 2026, ක්‍රීඩාව මගින් සාමය, එකමුතුකම, මිත්‍රත්වය සහ සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්න ජීවන රටාවක් ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් ජාත්‍යන්තර ධාවන ඉසව්වකි.

ළමුන්, පාසල් සිසුන්, විනෝදාත්මක ධාවකයන්, ක්‍රීඩා සමාජ, වෘත්තීය ක්‍රීඩකයන් සහ විදේශීය සහභාගිවන්නන් සඳහා විවිධ ධාවන කාණ්ඩ විවෘත කර ඇත.
