Vacancy Overview

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Management Assistant – Non-Technical at Tourist Information Centres operated by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.

The appointment will be made on a one-year contract basis.

Educational Qualifications

G.C.E. Ordinary Level

Applicants must have passed six subjects in one sitting.
Credit passes must have been obtained in four subjects, including Sinhala or Tamil, English Language and Mathematics.

G.C.E. Advanced Level

Applicants must have passed three subjects at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The General Common Test and General English Paper are not counted among the three subjects.

Age Limit

Applicants must be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age.

Other Required Qualifications

Ability to use the English language, with special consideration given to spoken English ability.
Good communication skills.
A pleasant and presentable personality.

Monthly Payment Rs. 43,312.00 Plus the applicable Cost-of-Living Allowance

Additional Benefits

EPF contribution equivalent to 15% of the basic salary.
ETF contribution equivalent to 3% of the basic salary.

Details of two referees who are not relatives.
A copy of the birth certificate.
A copy of the National Identity Card.
Copies of educational certificates.
Copies of relevant service or experience certificates.
