SLTB Flying Squad Officer Recruitment 2026

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has invited applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for recruitment to the post of Flying Squad Officer on a contract basis.

Selected officers will be attached to the Flying Squad Division at the SLTB Head Office. Their duties will include inspecting SLTB employees working on bus routes.

Educational and Other Qualifications

• Passed the G.C.E. O/L Examination in six subjects in one sitting, including four credit passes with Sinhala or Tamil and Mathematics.
• Passed the G.C.E. A/L Examination in at least three subjects, excluding the Common General Paper.
• Completed a computer course of at least six months from an institution recognised by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age.
• Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens and in good health.
• Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to work in any part of Sri Lanka.
• Former members of the Tri-Forces must have legally left the service with a clear service record.

Salary and Benefits

Monthly Basic Contract Allowance: Rs. 46,220
Cost-of-living allowance: Rs. 17,800
Overtime, travelling and other applicable allowances will also be provided according to SLTB regulations.

• Employee EPF contribution: 8%
• Employer EPF contribution: 12%
• Employer ETF contribution: 3%
• Recruitment will be made following an interview.
• Selected applicants must pass a medical examination and may be required to complete a training course before recruitment.
• A travelling pass will be provided for journeys to and from the place of work within a 30 km radius.
• Appointments will be made on a work-rotation basis.

• අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයේදී සිංහල/දෙමළ භාෂාව සහ ගණිතය ඇතුළුව විෂයයන් හයකින් එකවර සමත්ව, විෂයයන් හතරකට සම්මාන සාමාර්ථ ලබා තිබිය යුතුය.
• අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ විභාගයේ සාමාන්‍ය පොදු පරීක්ෂණය හැර විෂයයන් තුනකින් සමත්ව තිබිය යුතුය.
• පිළිගත් මාස හයක හෝ ඊට වැඩි පරිගණක පාඨමාලාවක් සම්පූර්ණ කර තිබිය යුතුය.
• මාසික මූලික කොන්ත්‍රාත් දීමනාව: රු. 46,220 සහ ජීවන වියදම් දීමනාව රු. 17,800.

• க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் தமிழ்/சிங்கள மொழி மற்றும் கணிதம் உட்பட நான்கு திறமைச் சித்திகளுடன், ஒரே அமர்வில் ஆறு பாடங்களில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• க.பொ.த. உயர்தரப் பரீட்சையில் பொதுச் சாதாரண வினாத்தாள் தவிர்ந்த மூன்று பாடங்களில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• மூன்றாம் நிலை மற்றும் தொழிற்கல்வி ஆணைக்குழுவால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட குறைந்தது ஆறு மாத கணினிப் பாடநெறியைப் பூர்த்தி செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• மாதாந்த அடிப்படை ஒப்பந்தக் கொடுப்பனவு: ரூ. 46,220 மற்றும் வாழ்க்கைச் செலவுக் கொடுப்பனவு ரூ. 17,800.

உத்தியோகபூர்வ அறிவித்தலில் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ள மாதிரி விண்ணப்பத்திற்கு அமைவாக விண்ணப்பத்தைத் தயாரித்து, பதிவுத் தபாலில் மேலே குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட முகவரிக்கு அனுப்ப வேண்டும். விண்ணப்பிக்கும் பதவியின் பெயரை கடித உறையின் இடது மேல் மூலையில் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.
