🎓 SLBFE Scholarship Programme 2026

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) invite applications for the award of scholarships to eligible children of Sri Lankan migrant workers for 2026.

These scholarships are available to children of migrant workers who are currently employed abroad or have returned to Sri Lanka, provided that the relevant parent was registered with the SLBFE and meets the specified eligibility conditions.

📘 A. Grade 5 Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant's mother or father must have been registered with the SLBFE and employed abroad between 10.08.2020 and 10.08.2025.
• The student must have passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination held in 2025.
• The student must have obtained the relevant district cut-off marks.

Documents Required for Upload

• Applicant's original Birth Certificate.
• Original Grade 5 Scholarship Examination Certificate issued by the Department of Examinations.
• Bio-data page of the passport of the expatriate mother or father.

📗 B. G.C.E. Ordinary Level Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant's mother or father must have been registered with the SLBFE and employed abroad between 17.03.2020 and 17.03.2025.
• The applicant must have passed at least six subjects, including Mathematics, at the G.C.E. O/L Examination relevant to 2024 (held in 2025).
• The applicant must currently be studying for the G.C.E. A/L Examination and have passes in three subjects.

Documents Required for Upload

• Applicant's original Birth Certificate.
• Original G.C.E. O/L Examination Certificate issued by the Department of Examinations.
• Applicant's National Identity Card.
• Bio-data page of the passport of the expatriate mother or father.

📙 C. G.C.E. Advanced Level Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant's mother or father must have been registered with the SLBFE between 25.11.2019 and 25.11.2024 and must have been employed abroad.
• The applicant must have passed the G.C.E. A/L Examination relevant to 2024.
• The applicant must be following a full-time degree programme at a government university or a private university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), or be following a diploma course of at least two years' duration at a National Technical College or another government educational institution.

Documents Required for Upload

• Applicant's original Birth Certificate.
• Original G.C.E. A/L Examination Certificate issued by the Department of Examinations.
• Applicant's National Identity Card.
• Letter confirming studentship issued by the Registrar of the relevant educational institution.
• Bio-data page of the passport of the expatriate mother or father.

🎓 විගමනික ශ්‍රමිකයින්ගේ දරුවන් සඳහා ශිෂ්‍යත්ව ප්‍රදානය 2026

ශ්‍රී ලංකා විදේශ සේවා නියුක්ති කාර්යාංශයේ ලියාපදිංචි වී විදේශ රැකියාවල නිරත වන හෝ විදේශ සේවය නිමවා මෙරටට පැමිණි විගමනික ශ්‍රමිකයින්ගේ සුදුසුකම් සපුරන දරුවන් සඳහා 2026 වර්ෂයේ ශිෂ්‍යත්ව අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.

📘 5 ශ්‍රේණිය ශිෂ්‍යත්වය

• මව හෝ පියා 2020.08.10 සිට 2025.08.10 දක්වා කාලය තුළ කාර්යාංශයේ ලියාපදිංචි වී විදේශ රැකියාවක නිරත වී තිබිය යුතුය.
• 2025 වර්ෂයේ 5 ශ්‍රේණිය ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගයෙන් දිස්ත්‍රික් කඩඉම් ලකුණු ලබා සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.

උඩුගත කළ යුතු ලේඛන: උප්පැන්න සහතිකය, ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාග සහතිකය සහ විදේශගත මවගේ හෝ පියාගේ ගමන් බලපත්‍රයේ ජීවදත්ත පිටුව.

📗 අ.පො.ස. (සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ)

• මව හෝ පියා 2020.03.17 සිට 2025.03.17 දක්වා කාලය තුළ ලියාපදිංචි වී විදේශ රැකියාවක නිරත වී තිබිය යුතුය.
• 2024 වර්ෂයට අදාළ සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයෙන් ගණිතය ඇතුළුව විෂයයන් අවම වශයෙන් 06ක් සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
• දැනට උසස් පෙළ හදාරමින් සිටිය යුතු අතර විෂයයන් 03ක් සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.

උඩුගත කළ යුතු ලේඛන: උප්පැන්න සහතිකය, සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාග සහතිකය, ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත සහ මවගේ හෝ පියාගේ ගමන් බලපත්‍රයේ ජීවදත්ත පිටුව.

📙 අ.පො.ස. (උසස් පෙළ)

• මව හෝ පියා 2019.11.25 සිට 2024.11.25 දක්වා කාලය තුළ කාර්යාංශයේ ලියාපදිංචි වී විදේශ රැකියාවක නිරත වී තිබිය යුතුය.
• 2024 වර්ෂයට අදාළ උසස් පෙළ විභාගය සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
• පිළිගත් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක පූර්ණකාලීන උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් හෝ ජාතික තාක්ෂණික විද්‍යාලයක හෝ වෙනත් රජයේ අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක අවම වසර දෙකක ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාවක් හදාරමින් සිටිය යුතුය.

උඩුගත කළ යුතු ලේඛන: උප්පැන්න සහතිකය, උසස් පෙළ විභාග සහතිකය, ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත, අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයේ ලේඛකාධිකාරී විසින් නිකුත් කරන ශිෂ්‍යභාවය තහවුරු කිරීමේ ලිපිය සහ විදේශගත දෙමාපියන්ගේ ගමන් බලපත්‍රයේ ජීවදත්ත පිටුව.

🎓 புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்களின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கான புலமைப்பரிசில் 2026

இலங்கை வெளிநாட்டு வேலைவாய்ப்புப் பணியகத்தில் பதிவு செய்து வெளிநாடுகளில் பணிபுரியும் அல்லது நாடு திரும்பிய புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்களின் தகுதியான பிள்ளைகளுக்கு 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான புலமைப்பரிசில்களை வழங்குவதற்கு விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்படுகின்றன.

📘 தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில்

• விண்ணப்பதாரரின் தாய் அல்லது தந்தை 10.08.2020 முதல் 10.08.2025 வரையான காலப்பகுதியில் பணியகத்தில் பதிவு செய்து வெளிநாட்டில் பணிபுரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்து உரிய மாவட்ட வெட்டுப்புள்ளிகளைப் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.

பதிவேற்ற வேண்டிய ஆவணங்கள்: பிறப்புச் சான்றிதழ், தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சைச் சான்றிதழ், வெளிநாட்டில் பணிபுரிந்த தாய் அல்லது தந்தையின் கடவுச்சீட்டு விபரப் பக்கம்.

📗 க.பொ.த. (சாதாரண தரம்)

• தாய் அல்லது தந்தை 17.03.2020 முதல் 17.03.2025 வரையான காலப்பகுதியில் பணியகத்தில் பதிவு செய்து வெளிநாட்டில் பணிபுரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்குரிய சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் கணிதம் உட்பட குறைந்தது 06 பாடங்களில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• தற்போது உயர்தரத்தில் கல்வி கற்பதுடன் 03 பாடங்களில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

பதிவேற்ற வேண்டிய ஆவணங்கள்: பிறப்புச் சான்றிதழ், சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சைச் சான்றிதழ், தேசிய அடையாள அட்டை மற்றும் பெற்றோரின் கடவுச்சீட்டு விபரப் பக்கம்.

📙 க.பொ.த. (உயர்தரம்)

• தாய் அல்லது தந்தை 25.11.2019 முதல் 25.11.2024 வரையான காலப்பகுதியில் பணியகத்தில் பதிவு செய்து வெளிநாட்டில் பணிபுரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்குரிய உயர்தரப் பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
• அரச பல்கலைக்கழகம் அல்லது பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழுவால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட தனியார் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் முழுநேரப் பட்டப்படிப்பையோ, தேசிய தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்லூரி அல்லது வேறு அரச கல்வி நிறுவனத்தில் குறைந்தது இரண்டு வருட டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறியையோ தொடர்ந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

பதிவேற்ற வேண்டிய ஆவணங்கள்: பிறப்புச் சான்றிதழ், உயர்தரப் பரீட்சைச் சான்றிதழ், தேசிய அடையாள அட்டை, கல்வி நிறுவனப் பதிவாளரின் மாணவர் நிலையை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் கடிதம் மற்றும் பெற்றோரின் கடவுச்சீட்டு விபரப் பக்கம்.
