University Admission Cut-Off Marks
The minimum Z-Score cut-off marks for university admission based on the results of the GCE Advanced Level Examination 2025 are expected to be released during the first week of August 2026.
The cut-off marks will be issued for admission to courses of study offered by Sri Lankan state universities for the 2025/2026 academic year.
⚠️ Important Notice
The Z-Score cut-off marks have not yet been officially released. The first week of August 2026 is the currently expected release period.
Students and parents are advised to wait for the official announcement from the University Grants Commission.

How University Selection Is Determined
University selection may depend on the candidate's Z-Score, district, selected courses, order of preference and the number of places available in each course and university.
Obtaining the minimum qualification for university admission does not automatically guarantee selection to a particular course or university.
