The Faculty of Graduate Studies, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, invites applications for its Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree programmes for the 2026 intake.

✅ Entry Requirements – MPhil
Applicants should satisfy one of the following qualification pathways, subject to the university's requirements.
- A qualification at SLQF Level 7 or above in the relevant field.
- An Honours Bachelor's Degree at SLQF Level 6 with a minimum of 30 credits in the relevant field.
- An Honours Bachelor's Degree at SLQF Level 6 with a minimum of 30 credits in the relevant field, together with a qualifying examination where applicable.
- A Bachelor's Degree at SLQF Level 5 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 and successful completion of 30 credits equivalent to SLQF Level 5 in the same or a related field.
- NVQ Level 7 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 and successful completion of the prescribed qualifying examination after completing the relevant 30 credits equivalent to SLQF Level 6 or 7, as determined by the university.
✅ Entry Requirements – PhD
- A Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in the relevant field.
- A Master's degree with coursework and a research component containing a minimum of 15 credits in the relevant field.
- An Honours Bachelor's Degree at SLQF Level 6 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, with or without a qualifying examination as determined by the university.
- Registered MPhil candidates may be upgraded to PhD after at least one year of full-time study or one and a half years of part-time study, provided they demonstrate exceptional research competence and satisfy the relevant PhD requirements.

- Complete the application form carefully.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 5,000 using the university's prescribed bank account.
- Submit or post the duly completed application form together with the original bank payment slip to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

නැගෙනහිර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ පශ්චාත් උපාධි අධ්‍යයන පීඨය විසින් 2026 වර්ෂය සඳහා දර්ශනපති (MPhil) සහ දර්ශනශූරී (PhD) උපාධි පාඨමාලා සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.
- 🎓 MPhil කාලසීමාව: වසර 2 යි.
- 🎓 PhD කාලසීමාව: වසර 3 යි.
- 🌐 අධ්‍යයන මාධ්‍ය: දෙමළ සහ ඉංග්‍රීසි.
- 💰 අයදුම්පත් ගාස්තුව: රු. 5,000.
- 📚 විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍ර: කෘෂිකර්මය, වාණිජ හා කළමනාකරණය, ආර්ථික විද්‍යාව, කලා හා සංස්කෘතිය, සෞන්දර්ය අධ්‍යයනය, සෞඛ්‍ය විද්‍යා, විද්‍යාව, අධ්‍යාපනය සහ සමාජ විද්‍යා.
අදාළ සුදුසුකම් සහිත අයදුම්කරුවන් නිල අයදුම්පත සම්පූර්ණ කර බැංකු ගෙවීම් පත්‍රිකාවේ මුල් පිටපත සමඟ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට භාර දිය යුතුය හෝ තැපෑලෙන් යැවිය යුතුය.
අවසාන දිනය: නිල වෙබ් පිටුවේ සඳහන් කර නොමැත. විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙන් තහවුරු කරගන්න.
