Foreign Scholarships for Government Officers
2027 KOICA CIAT Scholarship Programme
Master’s and Doctoral degree scholarship opportunities in the Republic of Korea for eligible public officials of the Government of Sri Lanka.
The Department of External Resources has invited nominations from eligible Sri Lankan government officers for the 2027 KOICA CIAT Scholarship Programme.
A total of 15 degree programmes are available in fields including public management, digital innovation, health, fisheries, agriculture, climate change, social economy and economic development.
Applications should be forwarded through the relevant ministry or institution according to the instructions contained in the official invitation letter for the selected programme.
📌 Important Application Instructions
- The opportunities are intended for eligible public officials of the Government of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants must carefully check the eligibility requirements, scholarship coverage and selection procedure in the relevant programme guidelines.
- Applications should be submitted with a nomination or approval letter from the relevant line ministry.
- Submit the completed KOICA application, supporting documents, relevant passport pages and the completed ERD application form.
- Each ministry is generally requested to submit one or a maximum of two suitable applications for a programme.
- Applications accepted by ERD will still be subject to the final selection process conducted by KOICA, the Korean Embassy and the relevant university.
- Applicants are advised to submit complete applications as early as possible due to the limited number of nomination slots.
