The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has announced the Spot Registration process for the Bachelor of Science General/Hons Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. Students interested in Biological and Physical Sciences can complete their registration from 11th to 16th May 2026 at the nearest OUSL Regional Centre. Limited registration dates are available, so applicants are advised to complete the process early.

Competitive Entrance Examination
Applications are called online for the admission of students to the Academic Year 2027 from applicants who are eligible for the Sri Lanka Law College Competitive Entrance Examination.
Eligibility Requirements
  1. Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
  2. Should have completed 17 years of age at the time of forwarding the application.
  3. Should have obtained Two Credit Passes and one Ordinary Pass at one sitting in the GCE A/L Examination conducted by Sri Lanka or the United Kingdom.
  1. Should have obtained a Credit Pass in English and a Credit Pass in Sinhala or Tamil in the GCE O/L Examination of Sri Lanka / National General Certificate / GCE O/L of the United Kingdom.
  2. If applying with equivalent qualifications, applicants should inquire through 070-6759892 before submitting the application and obtain permission from Sri Lanka Law College.
Entrance Examination
All applicants shall appear for the Entrance Examination. Applicants who receive less than 40% marks in one or more question papers will not be eligible for entrance.
