Calling Applications for the Post of

Management Assistant Grade III – Non-Technical (MA 1-2)

Applications are invited from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to fill vacancies in the post of Management Assistant Grade III – Non-Technical (MA 1-2) in the Ayurveda Medical Council functioning under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media.

The appointment is permanent

General Qualifications

i. Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
ii. Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post and possess good character.
 

Educational Qualifications 

I. Having passed six (06) subjects including Sinhala/Tamil language with credit passes in not more than two sittings at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.

OR

II. Having passed at least three (03) subjects at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination and having Certificate on six Month Microsoft Office Computer Course

Age Limit

Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Salary

According to Public Administration Circular No. 01/2025 – MA 1-2 salary scale:
Rs. 46,220 – 10×540 – 7×630 – 12×1,080 – 84 350

Method of Recruitment

By written examination and/or interview.
Selected applicants will be appointed subject to a probation period of three (03) years.

The Primary Healthcare System Enhancing Project (PHSEP) under the Ministry of Health & Mass Media, funded by the World Bank (WB), has called for applications to recruit a Senior Technical Officer.

The PHSEP project aims to improve access and quality of Primary Healthcare Services across all districts in Sri Lanka for the period 2024–2028.

Vacancy Details

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field recognized by the University Grants Commission with at least 4 years of relevant experience

OR

• NVQ Level 7 with minimum 4 years of relevant experience

OR

• NVQ Level 6 with minimum 9 years of relevant experience

OR

• NVQ Level 5 with minimum 14 years of relevant experience

(Note: NVQ certificates must be issued by an institution accepted by TVEC.)
