🔎 Key Observations

The cut-off qualification rate increased from 17.11% in 2025 to 19.32% in 2026.
The national mean increased from 102.44 to 106.48.
The number of candidates sitting the examination decreased by 13,804.
Sabaragamuwa recorded the highest provincial cut-off qualification rate at 24.48%.
Kurunegala recorded the highest district percentage obtaining 70 or above at 79.72%.
Female candidates recorded stronger results in the higher mark ranges of Paper II.
The report shows a noticeable performance difference between lower-income and higher-income groups, particularly in Paper II.

The Department of Examinations has announced that applications for the re-scrutiny of the 2026 Grade V Scholarship Examination results can be submitted online.

Important Instructions

Applications must be submitted online by the principal through the Department of Examinations’ Exam Information Centre or the official online examinations portal.
The principal should log in using the username and password already provided to the school.
Select the relevant Grade V Scholarship Examination from the displayed examination list and click “Apply”.
Confirm that the index number and name displayed for each applicant are correct before submitting the application.
A separate application must be completed for each student requesting re-scrutiny.
After completing the online application, download the generated acknowledgement/application document.
The required hard-copy documents for each student must be sent by registered post according to the official instructions.
The principal should retain the registered-post receipt as proof of posting.
Applications submitted or received after 21 September 2026 will not be accepted.

Documents to Be Brought to the Interview

National Identity Card, valid driving licence or valid passport.
Proof of continuous permanent residence for at least three years within the applied Divisional Secretariat division during the six years immediately preceding 24 November 2025: an extract from the electoral register or a DS 04 residence certificate issued by the Grama Niladhari.
Birth certificate.
Original documents proving educational and other qualifications required under Gazette No. 2460 dated 24 October 2025, together with copies certified by the candidate as true copies.
If there is any difference in the candidate's name, an affidavit confirming the difference.

The interview list for the Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade II of Class 2 of the Sri Lanka Information and Communication Technology Service - 2025 (2026) has been released.

The competitive examination was conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations on 22 March 2026.

According to the examination results, the candidates named in the official document have qualified to attend the interview.

The date, time and detailed instructions relating to the interview of each listed applicant will be announced later.

⚠️ The official notice states that only 57 vacancies are expected to be filled.

Inclusion of a candidate’s name in this list does not automatically qualify that person for an appointment. Every candidate must satisfy all qualifications and conditions specified in the relevant examination notice.

සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ දිනය, වේලාව සහ වැඩිදුර උපදෙස් ඉදිරියේදී දැනුම් දෙනු ඇත. පිරවීමට අපේක්ෂිත පුරප්පාඩු සංඛ්‍යාව 57කි.

பரீட்சை நடைபெற்ற திகதி: 22 மார்ச் 2026

விண்ணப்பதாரர்களுக்கான நேர்முகப் பரீட்சைத் திகதி, நேரம் மற்றும் விரிவான அறிவுறுத்தல்கள் பின்னர் அறிவிக்கப்படும். நிரப்பப்படவுள்ள வெற்றிடங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 57 ஆகும்.
