📌 Examination Announcement
The Department of Examinations has announced that the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2026, conducted for the selection of students for schools and the awarding of scholarships, will be held on Sunday, 09 August 2026.
The examination is scheduled to be conducted at 2,723 examination centres throughout the island.
Admission cards and relevant documents for school candidates have been sent to the principals of their respective schools.
School principals should distribute the admission cards to eligible candidates and provide the necessary assistance and instructions relating to the examination.

✏️ Admission Card Amendments
23 July 2026 – 03 August 2026
If there are any errors or amendments required in the details of school candidates appearing on the admission cards, the relevant school principals must make the corrections online.
The online facility for making admission card amendments will be available from 23 July 2026 to 03 August 2026.
Amendments must be completed within this period through the official Department of Examinations online service.

පාසල්වලට සිසුන් තෝරා ගැනීම සහ ශිෂ්යාධාර ප්රදානය කිරීම සඳහා පැවැත්වෙන 5 ශ්රේණිය ශිෂ්යත්ව විභාගය – 2026, 2026 අගෝස්තු 09 වන ඉරිදා දිවයින පුරා විභාග මධ්යස්ථාන 2,723කදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය.

பாடசாலைகளுக்கு மாணவர்களைத் தெரிவு செய்வதற்கும் புலமைப்பரிசில் வழங்குவதற்குமான தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சை – 2026, 2026 ஓகஸ்ட் 09 ஆம் திகதி ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை நாடளாவிய ரீதியில் 2,723 பரீட்சை நிலையங்களில் நடைபெறும்.
பாடசாலைப் பரீட்சார்த்திகளுக்கான அனுமதி அட்டைகள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பாடசாலை அதிபர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளன. மாணவர்கள் அனுமதி அட்டையையும் தேவையான அறிவுறுத்தல்களையும் பாடசாலை அதிபரிடமிருந்து பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
