The results of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination held on 09 August 2026 are expected to be released during the first week of September 2026.
Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Liyanage has stated that the evaluation of answer scripts is scheduled to begin on 20 August 2026 and is expected to be completed by 25 August 2026.
According to the information reported, a total of 294,089 candidates appeared for this year's Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.

මෙවර විභාගයට සිංහල මාධ්යයෙන් 220,366 දෙනෙකු සහ දෙමළ මාධ්යයෙන් 73,723 දෙනෙකු ඇතුළුව සමස්ත 294,089 දෙනෙකු පෙනී සිට ඇත.
