📢 Student Nursing Interview Notice 2026

The Ministry of Health & Mass Media, Sri Lanka has issued the interview calling notice for recruitment to the Student Nursing Training – 2026 (Batch 2023).

This recruitment relates to applications submitted under Gazette Notification No. 2489 dated 29.05.2026.

Applicants should check their relevant list/calling number and interview schedule carefully before attending the interview.

📂 Documents Required for the Interview

Applicants should take the required original documents together with photocopies certified as true copies.

1. Birth Certificate
2. NIC, valid Passport or valid Driving Licence
3. Printout of the submitted application with the applicant's signature certified by a Justice of Peace as required in the Gazette
4. G.C.E. A/L Results Sheet with Z-Score issued by the Department of Examinations
5. G.C.E. O/L Results Sheet issued by the Department of Examinations
6. Receipt for payment of Rs. 1,000
7. Grama Niladhari Certificate – DS 4 Form with the seal of the Grama Niladhari
8. Original Student Performance Sheet / School Leaving Certificate – Education B 59 Form
9. Required affidavit signed over a Rs. 50 stamp before a Justice of Peace regarding marital and educational status
10. Required Solemn Declaration – Annexure 04 in the prescribed format
11. If there are differences or changes in the applicant's name in the submitted documents, the required affidavit certified by a Justice of Peace

Applicants should also bring a file containing the required documents.

⚠️ Important Instructions

• All required documents should be submitted on the interview date itself.
• Attending the interview does not automatically mean that the applicant will be selected for Student Nursing Training.
• Final selection will be based on the recommendation of the interview board and the conditions of the relevant Gazette notification.
• The list of finally selected applicants will be published on the official Ministry of Health website.
• Individual notifications regarding final selection may not be sent to applicants.
• Interview dates indicated in the schedule are subject to change. Applicants should therefore follow official updates.

🚨 Unable to Attend the Scheduled Interview?

Applicants who are unable to attend the interview on the scheduled date due to illness or another unavoidable reason should follow the procedure stated in the official notice.

An acceptable medical report or detailed reason together with an appeal should be submitted to the relevant authority within 7 days from the scheduled interview date.
