Latest Update – 19.08.2026Interview Calling Notice & Qualified Candidates List Released
The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has released the interview calling notice for candidates who qualified through the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Combined Drivers’ Service – 2026.
The written examination was held on 17 May 2026. Qualified candidates will now be called for a General Interview and Practical Test.

🚗 Practical Test
The practical test will assess candidates mainly on their driving ability and basic knowledge of motor mechanics.
- Total Marks: 20
- Minimum required mark: 10 marks or above
- Candidates must satisfy the practical test requirements to proceed with the recruitment process.
👤 General Interview
The General Interview will mainly be conducted to verify whether candidates possess the qualifications specified in the examination notification.
Candidates should bring the Interview Calling Letter together with the required original certificates and copies.
📂 Important Documents to Take
- National Identity Card or valid passport
- Valid Sri Lankan Driving Licence
- Original Birth Certificate
- Original certificates relating to educational qualifications
- Original School Leaving Certificate / relevant school record
- Photocopies of the required certificates
- Grama Niladhari certificate regarding residence, where applicable
- Medical certificate issued by a Government Medical Officer relating to eyesight, night vision and colour recognition
- Certificates confirming the required driving experience
- Other documents specified in the official interview notice
⚠️ Online Data Collection – Compulsory
Candidates who have qualified for the interview are instructed to complete the online data collection form on or before 31 August 2026.

සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණයට යන විට කැඳවීමේ ලිපිය, ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත, රියදුරු බලපත්රය සහ අවශ්ය මුල් සහතික රැගෙන යා යුතුය.

⚠️ நேர்முகப் பரீட்சைக்குத் தகுதி பெற்ற விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் 31.08.2026 இற்கு முன்னர் Online Data Collection Form ஐ பூர்த்தி செய்ய வேண்டும்.
நேர்முகப் பரீட்சைக்கு அழைப்புக் கடிதம், தேசிய அடையாள அட்டை, செல்லுபடியான சாரதி அனுமதிப்பத்திரம் மற்றும் தேவையான மூலச் சான்றிதழ்களை எடுத்துச் செல்ல வேண்டும்.
