The University Grants Commission invites applications from candidates who have demonstrated exceptional abilities and achievements in sports for special university admission for the Academic Year 2025/2026.

🏆 This special admission opportunity is intended for applicants who have achieved recognition at major national/international level sports competitions.

📍 Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka
📍 University of Sri Jayewardenepura

🔬 Sports Science

📍 University of Kelaniya

🤸 Physical Education

📍 Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka
📍 University of Jaffna

✅ Who Can Apply?

Applicants should have fulfilled at least one of the following sports-related requirements:

• 🥇 Winning medals or participating in the Olympic Games.
• 🏅 Winning at least a Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal at the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games or SAARC Games.
• 🇱🇰 Being a member of a Sri Lankan national team representing the country at the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, SAARC Games or a recognised World Cup competition.
• Sports may include Cricket, Football, Rugby, Volleyball, Netball or another sport accepted by the University Grants Commission.

📚 Foundation Course

Candidates selected under this special admission category are required to complete a suitable foundation course conducted by the Open University of Sri Lanka before starting the university academic programme.

📎 Certified copies of the relevant certificates relating to sports achievements should be attached to the application.

විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන කොමිෂන් සභාව විසින් 2025/2026 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා ක්‍රීඩා ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ සුවිශේෂී දක්ෂතා ඇති අයදුම්කරුවන්ගෙන් විශේෂ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රවේශය සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.

🏅 ඔලිම්පික් තරග, පොදු රාජ්‍ය මණ්ඩලීය ක්‍රීඩා උළෙල, ආසියානු ක්‍රීඩා උළෙල, SAARC ක්‍රීඩා උළෙල හෝ පිළිගත් ජාත්‍යන්තර තරගවලදී සුවිශේෂී දක්ෂතා දක්වා ඇති අය සඳහා මෙම අවස්ථාව විවෘත වේ.

🎓 පාඨමාලා: ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යාව හා කළමනාකරණය, ක්‍රීඩා විද්‍යාව සහ ශාරීරික අධ්‍යාපනය.

📮 අදාළ සහතිකවල සහතික කරන ලද පිටපත් සමඟ අයදුම්පත ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑලෙන් UGC වෙත යොමු කළ යුතුය.

பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழு 2025/2026 கல்வியாண்டிற்காக விளையாட்டுத் துறையில் விசேட திறமைகள் மற்றும் சாதனைகளைக் கொண்ட விண்ணப்பதாரர்களிடமிருந்து விசேட பல்கலைக்கழக அனுமதிக்கான விண்ணப்பங்களை கோருகிறது.

🏅 ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள், பொதுநலவாய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள், ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள், SAARC விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் அல்லது அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட சர்வதேச போட்டிகளில் சாதனை புரிந்தவர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.

🎓 கற்கைநெறிகள்: விளையாட்டு விஞ்ஞானமும் முகாமைத்துவமும், விளையாட்டு விஞ்ஞானம் மற்றும் உடற்கல்வி.

📮 உரிய சான்றிதழ்களின் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட பிரதிகளுடன் விண்ணப்பத்தை பதிவு தபால் மூலம் பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழுவிற்கு அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
