The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation has announced Project Staff Vacancies under the Climate Resilience Multi-Phase Programmatic Approach (CResMPA) project funded by the World Bank.
Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka to work in the Project Coordinating Unit (PCU) on a full-time contract basis.
Several positions including Project Engineers, Officers, Managers, Assistants and Drivers are available.

Recruitment of Project Staff for the Climate Resilience Multi-Phase Programmatic Approach (CResMPA)
The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation has called applications from citizens of Sri Lanka for project staff recruitment under the Climate Resilience Multi-Phase Programmatic Approach (CResMPA).
These appointments are on a full-time contract basis. A number of vacancies are available for managerial, technical, officer level and support staff positions.

Management Assistant – 03 Vacancies
Should have passed the GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination in six (06) subjects with credit passes for four subjects including Sinhala/Tamil/English Language, Mathematics and two other subjects in one sitting and having passed all the subjects at the GCE (A/L) Examination in one sitting.
Candidates who passed under the old syllabus in one sitting would suffice, except General Test. Preference will be given to candidates who can communicate in English Language and are computer literate with minimum 02 years of experience in the relevant field.
Salary Level: As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2026 and Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025.
Drivers – 03 Vacancies
Should have passed the GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination in six (06) subjects with credit passes for two subjects including Sinhala / Tamil not more than twice.
Applicants should have obtained a Driving License issued by the Commissioner of Motor Traffic and the expected proficiency should be clearly stated. Should have at least 03 years of experience after obtaining the driver’s license.
Salary Level: As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2026 and Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025.
Office Assistant – 02 Vacancies
Should have passed the GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination in six (06) subjects with credit passes for two subjects not more than twice and should be able to carry out general office support and clerical duties.
Duties include filing, handling documents and assisting officers in the day-to-day operations of the office.
Salary Level: As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2026 and Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025.
- Age: Applicants should be at least 21 years old and not more than 63 years of age.
- Salary Scale: Government approved salary scale with allowances as per the Management Services Circular No. 01/2026 dated 02/02/2026 and Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25/03/2025.
- These positions are exclusively on contract basis, initially up to 31st December 2026 with possible extensions based on performance and project time extension.
