About the Programmes

The University of Peradeniya invites applications for its postgraduate programmes in Building Services Engineering for the 2027 intake.

These are part-time weekend programmes designed for engineers and professionals working in building services and related sectors.

Programmes Offered

1. Master of Science of Engineering (MSc.Eng.)

Duration: 18 months, including postgraduate coursework and an advanced research study.

2. Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip.)

Duration: 12 months, including postgraduate coursework and an advanced study.

Lectures and coursework will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must satisfy either of the following requirements, subject to the Faculty's general postgraduate regulations.

Option 1: A BSc.Eng. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, or an equivalent qualification.

OR

Option 2: A BSc.Eng. degree or equivalent, together with two years of experience in Building Services Engineering.

Course Fees

Total MSc.Eng. course fee: Rs. 500,000.

Application Procedure

1. Visit the official university programme or announcement page.
2. Download the application form.
3. Complete the application accurately.
4. Submit a hard copy to the Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya.
5. Write PG-BSE-2027 on the top-left corner of the envelope.

අදාළ ඉංජිනේරු උපාධි සුදුසුකම් හෝ පිළිගත් සමාන සුදුසුකම් සහ අවශ්‍ය වෘත්තීය පළපුරුද්ද ඇති අයට, විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ නියමයන්ට යටත්ව අයදුම් කළ හැකිය.

கற்கைநெறிக் கட்டணம்: முதலாவது கல்வியாண்டு ரூ. 450,000; MSc.Eng. இரண்டாவது கல்வியாண்டு ரூ. 50,000.

விண்ணப்ப முடிவுத் திகதி: 20.12.2026

தகைமைகள்: தொடர்புடைய பொறியியல் பட்டம் அல்லது அதற்குச் சமமான தகைமை; மாற்று அனுமதிப் பாதையில் கட்டட சேவைகள் பொறியியல் துறையில் இரண்டு வருட அனுபவம் தேவை. பல்கலைக்கழக விதிமுறைகள் பொருந்தும்.

பூர்த்தி செய்யப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பங்களின் அச்சுப் பிரதிகளை குறிப்பிட்ட திகதிக்கு முன்னர் பொறியியல் பீடத்தின் சிரேஷ்ட உதவிப் பதிவாளருக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.
