🎓 External Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Science / Mathematics / Agriculture / Management / Sociology / Education / Commerce recognized by the U.G.C. with 3 years post qualifying Junior Manager Level experience in the relevant field in a Corporation, Statutory Board, Institution or reputed mercantile establishment.
- OR Council of Engineering (CEI) former syllabus Part II / new syllabus Part III / Institute of Engineering Sri Lanka former syllabus Part II / new syllabus Part III with 3 years post qualifying Junior Manager Level experience in the relevant field.
- OR Certificate of proficiency not below National Vocational Qualification Level 07, issued by a Technical / Vocational training institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission with 3 years post qualifying Junior Manager Level experience in the relevant field.
- OR Successfully completed a Diploma in any Engineering Technology (NDT / NDES / HNDE / D.Tech) or Diploma in Technical & Vocational Education discipline conducted by a recognized university or organization of Technical and Vocational Training or a Certificate of proficiency not below NVQ Level 06, issued by an accepted Technical / Vocational training organization with 12 years experience including 6 years at Junior Manager level out of 12 years in the relevant field.
👨💼 Internal Qualifications
- Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above
- Completion of minimum Five (05) years satisfactory service in a post in the Junior Manager (JM 1-1) Category, in the subject area relevant to the post
📌 Age Limit
Applicants should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.
Special Note: The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.
