External Candidates:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a University recognized by UGC.
• 03 years post qualification experience in Tea, Rubber, Coconut and other mixed crop plantations in the plantation industry.
• Diploma in Plantation Management / Agriculture and IT knowledge will be added qualifications.

Internal Candidates:

• Minimum 05 years satisfactory service as Assistant Estate Superintendent of Elkaduwa Plantations Ltd in Junior Management Category Grade I.

Salary Scale: MM 1-1

Salary: Rs. 91,690 – Rs. 168,240

Age: 25 – 45 years. Upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.

External Candidates:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a University recognized by UGC.
• 01 year experience in Tea, Rubber, Coconut and other mixed crop plantations in supervisory capacity.

Internal Candidates:

• Minimum 05 years experience in Grade I Management Assistant category in the plantation field.

Salary Scale: JM 1-1

Salary: Rs. 72,650 – Rs. 122,970

Age: 25 – 45 years. Upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.

Selection will be based on a structural interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority.

• Relevant additional experience – 30 Marks
• Relevant additional qualifications – 30 Marks
• Other achievements – 15 Marks
• Performance at the interview – 25 Marks

Total: 100 Marks
