(a) At least three (03) simple passes (S) in any stream in one and the same sitting, at the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (G.C.E. A/L) Examination conducted by the Department of Examination of Sri Lanka or equivalent qualification.
(b) At least credit (C) passes in Mathematics and Science not exceeding two sittings in the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (G.C.E. O/L) examination conducted by the Department of Examination of Sri Lanka or equivalent qualification.
