Education Ministry has sent a letter to all Provincial Education Directors on Travel Expenses and Combined Allowances for teachers.
It States that, Chapter XIV of the Institutions Code lays down provisions regarding traveling expenses and composite allowances paid to public servants.
Accordingly, apart from the training programs which are required to be completed for teachers according to the teachers' service Minute, in relation to the official participation in the school's co-curricular or extra-curricular activities, the teachers can also be given travel expenses and related allowances in accordance with the provisions of Chapter XIV of the Institution Code and the circular regulations issued in parallel.
