Tuition , Seminar Ban for GCE O/L 2024 Batch

 


Exam Department has released the Media Notice on Banning Tuition Classes and Seminars for the GCE O/L 2024 Students from March 11, Midnight.

The Department of Examinations has announced that all private tuition classes, seminars, and related activities for the 2024 (2025) G.C.E. (A/L) Examination will be strictly prohibited from March 11 Midnight to March 26, 2025.

This measure is taken to ensure the integrity of the examination process, in accordance with legal provisions.

Recognized Degree Programs - Education Ministry


Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational education has released a public Notice to the Students and Parents on the Important Information on Foreign University Affiliated Degree programms.


Ministry request the Parents and Students to verify below details before Making Decisions, if you wish to enroll degree programmes affiliated with foreign Universities.

  • Updated Agreement / Memorandum of Understanding: Check whether a valid agreement exists between the local institute and the foreign university.
  • Recognition of the Foreign University: Confirm that the foreign university is listed in the Commonwealth Universities Yearbook or the World Higher Education Database.
  • Adequate Facilities: Ensure that the local institute has sufficient facilities to effectively deliver the degree program.
  • Student Registration: Verify whether the local institute facilitates direct registration of students with the foreign university.
