Inviting Applications for the Aptitude tests Conducted by teh University of Moratuwa for Below Degree Programems.

Applicants who wish to apply for the Aptitude Tests of the above four (04) Degree Programmes should possess the qualifications stipulated in the UGC Handbook for the Academic Year 2024/2025 under the respective degree programme and are required to fill the online application available in the University of Moratuwa website (http://www.uom.lk)

Interested applicants are informed to visit the University of Moratuwa website http://www.uom.lk for more information on requirements to apply for aptitude tests for the above degree programmes.

Completed application with relevant documents should be submitted online at or before 6.00 p.m. on 14th May 2025. No application is acknowledged after the deadline.

Entry Qualifications

(I)

A Bachelor of Education degree (SLQF 6) from a recognized University or UGC approved Educational Institution or

(II)

Any other Bachelor’s degree (SLQF 5 OR 6), with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PG Dip Ed) from a recognized institution or

(III)

Completion of NVQ level 7 (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in SLQF) with PGDE (PG Dip Ed) from a recognized University or UGC approved Institution as determined by the Faculty Board of the FoE and the Senate of University of Colombo. or

(IV)

A Bachelor’s degree (SLQF 5 or 6) with at least three years of work experience in the field of Education acceptable to the Faculty Board of the FoE and the Senate of the University of Colombo. and

(V)

A working knowledge of English language and satisfactory performance at a selection test and/or an interview.

Each application under clause (III) and clause (IV) shall be considered on its merit.
