Applications are invited for the All Island Art and Animation Video Competition from he Task Force to combat the use of poisonous and dangerous drugs in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

Prizes for winners

Art Competition
Category I & II
1st Place (A winner from each category) Rs. 50,000/=
2nd Place (A winner from each category) Rs. 35,000/=
3rd Place (A winner from each category) Rs. 20,000/=
Twenty winners (Ten winners from each category) are presented
certificates of merit.

Animation Video Competition

Category I & II
1st Place (A winner from each category) Rs. 200,000/=
2nd Place (A winner from each category) Rs. 150,000/=
3rd Place (A winner from each category) Rs. 100,000/=
Ten winners (Five winners from each category)  are presented certificates of merit.

  • 50% of cash prize for Category I will be awarded to the school
  • Mobile Phone Devices worth equivalent to prize money will be awarded to category II

The reason for casual leave can be stated as personal matter



Reason for the Casual leave can be mentioned as Personal Matter.

When applying for Casual leave as a government employee, you can take leave mentioning 'Personal Matter' as a reason.

Under the Right to Information Act, the query addressed to the Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Eastern Province has been answered above.

As per Establishment Code, when a government employee applies for Casual leave, the reason may be stated in the application form as personal matter. Moreover, it has been mentioned that there is no need to explain what the issue is,  and that the Head of the institute has no legal authority to inquire about it.

Exam Department requests the school heads those who entered GCE O/LSBA Marks incorrectly , to reenter the marks before 16th of October 2024.

Exam Department requested to enter the final marks for 100, but some schools has entered the final marks for 20. 

Exam Department requests only fo those schools to resubmit the SBA Marks correctly before the Closing Date
