Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) Scholarships - 2019

(College of Technology Students)

General Eligibility requirements

• Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Should have passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination in Mathematics stream conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka.
• Basic knowledge of Japanese Language
• Should posses a good knowledge of English.
• Should not be a student registered or following a course at a university, selected by the UGC based on the G.C.E. A/L examination results.

Fields of Study:

1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Electrical & Electronic Engineering
3. Information, Communication & Network Engineering
4. Materials Engineering
5. Architecture
6. Civil Engineering
7. Maritime Engineering

Other Conditions:

• Applicant must be willing to learn the Japanese language in one year period and receive College of Technology education in Japanese.
• The Candidate: should be born between April 2nd, 1994 and April 1st, 2002.

Japan, Undergraduate, Monbukagakusho:MEXT Scholarships

 

JAPANESE GOVERNMENT (MONBUKAGAKUSHO: MEXT) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2019 (RESEARCH STUDENTS)

 

General eligibility requirements:

1. All candidates should be citizens of Sri Lanka.
2. Age: Applicant should be born on or after April 2, 1984
3. Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a Second Class lower Division or above in the relevant field of study from a recognized university and a relevant Master’s degree for PhD studies.
4. Should possess a high proficiency in English.
5. Should be employed in a Ministry/Department/University/State Sector or Private Sector Institution.
6. No application will be entertained from a person holding a temporary/casual/contractual appointment or a person who is unemployed. Only permanent and confirmed employees will be considered for the scholarships.
7. Employees on probation in the Universities are eligible to apply, provided that his/her confirmation is conditional upon acquiring a specified postgraduate qualification.
