Selection Criteria (Male)Minimum Educational Qualifications
Degree Course:
- Pass the GCE (O/L) Examination in not more than two (02) attempts with Eight (08) Simple Passes and Five (05) “C” passes for Mathematics, Science, English and Sinhala/Tamil in one (01) sitting. Fifth “C” Pass can be obtained for any subject.& Three (03) simple passes at the GCE (A/L) Examination not more than Three (03) attempts with 30% marks in the General test in one (01) sitting.
- Pass the GCE (O/L) Examination in not more than Two (02) attempts with Eight (08) Simple Passes and Five (05) “C” passes for Mathematics, Science, English and Sinhala/Tamil in one (01) sitting. Fifth “C” Pass can be obtained for any subject.
- Age - Between 18 - 22 years as on the date of enlistment.
- Height - 5’ 6”.
- Weight- 50 Kg.
- Chest - 32”.

- GCE (O/L) Examination - Six (06) passes including Sinhala or Tamil at one sitting.
- Credit passes in any four (04) subjects including English Language.
- Pass in Mathematics (Those who have obtained four credit passes including English Language and a pass in Mathematics in not more than two (02) sittings including the sitting in which they qualified in six subject will be eligible to apply).
- GCE (A/L) Examination - Two (02) passes in GCE (A/L) at one sitting.
- Age - Between 18 - 22 years as on the date of enlistment.
- Height - 5' 2".
- Marital Status Unmarried.
