Agrahara monthly contribution increases to 1000 (2025 Onwards)



cabinet approval given to increase the Agrahara Monthly Contribution to 1000 rupees.

Approval of the Cabinet of Ministers was granted at their meeting held on 12.08.2024 to introduce a medical insurance scheme that further facilitates the government sector employees and all the pensioners with more attractive benefits with effect from 2025. Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers granted approval to the proposal furnished by the Hon. President to deduct rupees 1,000/- from the pension of all pensioners and from the monthly salary of all government sector employees and credit the amounts in the National Insurance Trust Fund and, to implement the proposed more privileged medical insurance scheme from the year 2025.

Passengers can buy the train ticket via online Now.

Important Notices
  1. Firstly, you should enter the details of your trip (departure Station, arrival station, class, Dates, passenger count. Thereafter, you will be able to review the details of your order and enter your mobile phone number or email. Afterwards, you can proceed to make the online payment. Once the payment is successful you will be presented with an order confirmation screen that allows you to download your tickets. In addition, you will receive the links to your e-tickets via SMS or email.
  2. You can purchase tickets for a maximum of 5 passengers per order
  3. Only 2nd and 3rd class tickets are available 
  4. Can not reserved a seat
  5. Each e-ticket and QR code is valid for a single trip and for a single passenger. You are allowed a single entry and exit from your starting and ending stations.
