The Ministry of Public Administration has officially launched the “SkillUp Gov” YouTube channel with the objective of enhancing the knowledge, professional skills, and attitudes of Sri Lankan public servants. The official launch ceremony was held at the “Nilamadura” auditorium in Narahenpita under the patronage of the Minister of Public Administration, Professor Chandana Abayarathne.

SkillUp Gov Official YouTube Channel Launched for Public Servants

📌 Event Highlights

The official YouTube channel “SkillUp Gov” was launched by the Ministry of Public Administration.
The launch ceremony was held at the “Nilamadura” Auditorium, Narahenpita.
The programme was conducted under the patronage of Professor Chandana Abayarathne, Minister of Public Administration.
The launch coincided with the monthly progress review meeting of the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.

✔ Updating the professional knowledge of public servants.

✔ Developing modern skills and positive attitudes required for the public service.

✔ Providing technology-based training opportunities efficiently.

✔ Strengthening the modernisation of Sri Lanka’s public service sector.

The Human Resources Development Division of the Ministry of Public Administration implemented this project as an important technological initiative aimed at building a modern, efficient, and knowledge-driven public service in Sri Lanka.

No 2500, 5000 allowance from April

Cost of Living Allowance will be continued - 17 800
