The Department of Examinations has released the online application instructions for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination 2026.

Separate instruction documents are available for school principals and private candidates in Sinhala and Tamil. Applicants are advised to read the relevant instructions carefully before completing the online application.

Results Re-scrutiny Online Application

The Department of Examinations has opened the online application facility for candidates who wish to request re-scrutiny of their G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2025 (2026) results.

Important Notice During the re-scrutiny process, the relevant answer scripts are fully examined by several members of the Re-scrutiny Board. Therefore, an upward or downward revision of marks or grades is possible.

⏳ Closing Date 08 July 2026

💳 Application Fee Rs. 200 per Subject

Who Can Apply?

Both school candidates and private candidates who sat for the G.C.E. O/L Examination 2025 (2026) may submit applications for re-scrutiny of results.

The candidate must submit the application personally.
Applications will only be accepted through the official online application system.
Candidates must use the same Index Number and National Identity Card number used when sitting for the examination.
The principal's recommendation or signature is not required for applications submitted by school candidates.

A candidate can submit only one online application.
Applications submitted without payment of the required fee will be rejected.

2025 (2026) අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාග ප්‍රතිඵල නැවත පරීක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා අයදුම්පත් 2026 ජූනි 25 සිට 2026 ජූලි 08 දක්වා මාර්ගගතව පමණක් භාරගනු ලැබේ. පාසල් සහ පෞද්ගලික අයදුම්කරුවන් තමන් විසින්ම අයදුම් කළ යුතුය. එක් විෂයකට ගාස්තුව රු. 200කි. විභාගයට පෙනී සිටි අවස්ථාවේ භාවිත කළ දර්ශක අංකය සහ ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත් අංකයම භාවිත කළ යුතුය. නැවත පරීක්ෂා කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය සියලුම විෂයන් එකම අයදුම්පතට ඇතුළත් කළ යුතු අතර ගෙවූ මුදල් ආපසු ගෙවනු නොලැබේ. පාසල් අයදුම්කරුවන් සඳහා විදුහල්පතිගේ නිර්දේශය හෝ අත්සන අවශ්‍ය නොවේ.

க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சை 2025 (2026) பெறுபேறுகளை மீள்பரிசீலனை செய்வதற்கான விண்ணப்பங்கள் 25.06.2026 முதல் 08.07.2026 வரை இணையவழியில் மட்டும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும். பாடசாலை மற்றும் தனிப்பட்ட பரீட்சார்த்திகள் தாமாகவே விண்ணப்பிக்க வேண்டும். ஒரு பாடத்திற்கான கட்டணம் ரூ. 200 ஆகும். பரீட்சைக்குத் தோற்றியபோது பயன்படுத்திய அதே சுட்டெண் மற்றும் தேசிய அடையாள அட்டை இலக்கத்தைப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். மீள்பரிசீலனை கோரும் அனைத்து பாடங்களையும் ஒரே விண்ணப்பத்தில் சேர்க்க வேண்டும். செலுத்தப்பட்ட கட்டணம் மீளளிக்கப்படாது. பாடசாலை விண்ணப்பதாரர்களுக்கு அதிபரின் பரிந்துரை அல்லது கையொப்பம் தேவையில்லை.

Official Report Overview

The Department of Examinations has published the performance analysis of candidates who sat the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2025. The report includes national results, A/L qualification rates, nine-A results, province and district rankings, education-zone performance, school-level distribution and subject pass rates.

Important: The analysis is based on examination data collected before the re-scrutiny process. Results that were withheld were not considered in the analysis.

2025 අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයට අපේක්ෂකයින් 404,655 දෙනෙකු පෙනී සිට ඇත. විෂයයන් පහක් හෝ වැඩි ගණනකට පෙනී සිටි අපේක්ෂකයින් අතරින් 235,149 දෙනෙකු උසස් පෙළ සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇති අතර එය 71.13%කි.

පළමු වරට පෙනී සිටි පාසල් අපේක්ෂකයින් අතරින් 225,748 දෙනෙකු හෙවත් 73.16%ක් උසස් පෙළ සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇත.
