Application Information

The Department of Examinations has issued instructions for applicants seeking selection as Chief Marking Examiners for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2026.

All fields marked with an asterisk must be completed. Other fields relevant to the applicant must also be filled in.

Applicants must provide true and accurate information. Applicants submitting false information may be debarred from examination duties.

After completing the online application, click the submit button and download the generated application form in PDF format.

4

The printed application must be certified by the Head of the Institution and forwarded to the Department of Examinations through the Head of the Institution.

5

Applicants who have not previously served as evaluation examiners must attach certified copies of the relevant certificates.

Important: Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Application Information

The Department of Examinations has invited eligible teachers and teacher advisers to submit online applications for selection as answer script examiners for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2026.

Applicants should carefully check their eligibility, service information, subject details and marking-centre preferences before submitting the application.

Applications submitted by teachers must be checked, recommended and forwarded online by the principal or the relevant authorized officer.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must presently be serving in an institution under the Ministry of Education.
Teachers with primary teacher training, National College of Education primary training or an accepted degree may apply.
The teacher should presently be engaged in teaching a class from Grade 3 to Grade 5.
The teacher should have more than three years of service.
Officers of the Teacher Adviser Service connected with the primary education curriculum who have participated in previous Grade 5 Scholarship Examination evaluation work may also apply.

Important Application Instructions

1 If the service-experience information displayed under Step 02 is incorrect, complete Annexure 01 and forward it to the specified address.
2 When completing items 12 and 13 under Step 02, clearly select “Yes” or “No”. Incomplete applications may be rejected.
3 The relevant subject or field must be entered under Step 04, such as Primary, Science or Mathematics.
4 Family members include the applicant’s children, grandchildren, siblings, spouse’s siblings, and their children or grandchildren.
5 Teachers’ applications must be checked, recommended and forwarded online by the school principal.
6 Select only two marking cities nearest to the applicant’s official working address. A second choice must also be provided.
7 A marking centre may not be established in a city if an adequate number of applications is not received.
8 If a suitable panel or vacancy is unavailable at the selected cities, the applicant may be assigned to another nearby marking centre.
9 Complete all required sections except item 15 and submit the application to the principal or head of the institution.
10 Applicants should carefully review all entered information before final submission. Incorrect information may affect selection.

Application Certification

The completed application must be certified by the relevant officer, according to the applicant’s place of service.

School Teachers Certification by the school principal.
Teacher Advisers Working in a Zone Certification by the Zonal Director of Education.
Officers Working in a Division Certification by the Divisional Director of Education.
Confidential assessment: The certifying officer should assess the applicant under the relevant sections using A – Excellent, B – Good, C – Average or W – Weak.

Postal Submission When Required

New applicants, applicants who are not school teachers and experienced applicants whose online information is incorrect may be required to forward the application with certified supporting documents.

2026 පහ ශ්‍රේණිය ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගයේ උත්තර පත්‍ර පරීක්ෂකවරුන් තෝරා ගැනීම සඳහා සුදුසුකම්ලත් ගුරුවරුන්ගෙන් සහ ගුරු උපදේශකවරුන්ගෙන් අන්තර්ජාලය ඔස්සේ අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත.

ප්‍රාථමික ගුරු පුහුණුව, විද්‍යාපීඨ ප්‍රාථමික පුහුණුව හෝ පිළිගත් උපාධියක් සහිතව දැනට 3 සිට 5 ශ්‍රේණි දක්වා පන්තියක ඉගැන්වීම් කරන, වසර තුනකට වැඩි සේවා කාලයක් ඇති ගුරුවරුන්ට අයදුම් කළ හැකිය. පසුගිය ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාග ඇගයීම් කටයුතුවලට සම්බන්ධ වූ ප්‍රාථමික විෂය නිර්දේශයට අදාළ ගුරු උපදේශකවරුන්ට ද අයදුම් කළ හැකිය.

ගුරුවරුන්ගේ අයදුම්පත් විදුහල්පතිවරයා විසින් පරීක්ෂා කර නිර්දේශ කර අන්තර්ජාලය ඔස්සේ යොමු කළ යුතුය. තම රාජකාරි ලිපිනයට ආසන්න ඇගයීම් නගර දෙකක් තෝරාගත යුතු අතර දෙවන තේරීමද අනිවාර්ය වේ.

ஆரம்பக் கல்வி ஆசிரியர் பயிற்சி, தேசிய கல்வியியற் கல்லூரியின் ஆரம்பக் கல்விப் பயிற்சி அல்லது ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட பட்டம் பெற்று, தற்போது தரம் 3 முதல் தரம் 5 வரையான வகுப்புகளில் கற்பிக்கும், மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேற்பட்ட சேவைக்காலம் கொண்ட ஆசிரியர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.

முன்னைய தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சை மதிப்பீட்டுப் பணிகளில் பங்கேற்ற, ஆரம்பக் கல்விப் பாடத்திட்டத்துடன் தொடர்புடைய ஆசிரியர் ஆலோசகர்களும் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். ஆசிரியர்களின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் அதிபரால் பரிசீலிக்கப்பட்டு, பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டு இணையவழியில் அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.

விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தமது கடமை முகவரிக்கு அண்மையிலுள்ள இரண்டு மதிப்பீட்டு நகரங்களைத் தெரிவு செய்ய வேண்டும். இரண்டாவது தெரிவும் கட்டாயமாகும்.

Official Report Overview

The Department of Examinations has published the performance analysis of candidates who sat the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination 2025. The report includes national results, A/L qualification rates, nine-A results, province and district rankings, education-zone performance, school-level distribution and subject pass rates.
Important: The analysis is based on examination data collected before the re-scrutiny process. Results that were withheld were not considered in the analysis.

සිංහල සාරාංශය

2025 අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයට අපේක්ෂකයින් 404,655 දෙනෙකු පෙනී සිට ඇත. විෂයයන් පහක් හෝ වැඩි ගණනකට පෙනී සිටි අපේක්ෂකයින් අතරින් 235,149 දෙනෙකු උසස් පෙළ සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇති අතර එය 71.13%කි.

පළමු වරට පෙනී සිටි පාසල් අපේක්ෂකයින් අතරින් 225,748 දෙනෙකු හෙවත් 73.16%ක් උසස් පෙළ සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇත.
