Application Information

The Department of Examinations has issued instructions for applicants seeking selection as Chief Marking Examiners for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2026.

All fields marked with an asterisk must be completed. Other fields relevant to the applicant must also be filled in.

Applicants must provide true and accurate information. Applicants submitting false information may be debarred from examination duties.

After completing the online application, click the submit button and download the generated application form in PDF format.

4

The printed application must be certified by the Head of the Institution and forwarded to the Department of Examinations through the Head of the Institution.

5

Applicants who have not previously served as evaluation examiners must attach certified copies of the relevant certificates.

Important: Incomplete applications will be rejected.

A/L Paper Marking Application

Important Instructions for Teachers and Principals

Important: Teachers may not be able to download the application immediately after submitting the online form. The application must first be verified online by the Principal.

What Should Teachers Do After Submitting the Online Application?

After submitting the A/L Paper Marking online application, teachers should inform their Principal and request the Principal to verify the application through the official school login portal provided by the Department of Examinations.

Complete and submit the A/L Paper Marking application through the official online portal.

Inform the Principal that the application has been submitted and request online verification through the school login portal.

The Principal must log in to the portal provided by the Department of Examinations and certify the teacher’s application online.

After the Principal completes the verification, the teacher should log in to the online portal using their National Identity Card number.

The verified application can then be downloaded and printed by the teacher.

Certification and Hard-Copy Submission

  • All applications submitted by teachers must be certified online by the Principal and submitted through the online system.
  • New applicants must submit the documents specified under Instruction 10.1 together with the printed hard copy of their application.
  • Applications submitted by In-Service Advisors must be certified by the relevant Zonal or Divisional Director of Education.
  • Applications submitted by University Lecturers must be certified by the Head of the relevant institution.
  • The hard copies of applications submitted by In-Service Advisors and University Lecturers must reach the Department of Examinations before the closing date.
Teachers are advised not to wait until the final day. Complete the online submission, Principal’s verification and hard-copy requirements before the closing date.

උසස් පෙළ පිළිතුරු පත්‍ර ඇගයීම් අයදුම්පත මාර්ගගතව ඉදිරිපත් කළ පසු, එය වහාම බාගත කිරීමට ගුරුවරුන්ට නොහැකි විය හැකිය.

අයදුම්පත ඉදිරිපත් කළ බව විදුහල්පතිවරයාට දැනුම් දී, විභාග දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් ලබා දී ඇති පාසල් පිවිසුම් පද්ධතිය හරහා අයදුම්පත මාර්ගගතව සහතික කරවා ගත යුතුය.

විදුහල්පතිවරයා විසින් අයදුම්පත සහතික කිරීමෙන් පසු, ගුරුවරයාට තම ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත් අංකය භාවිත කර මාර්ගගත පද්ධතියට පිවිස අයදුම්පත බාගත කරගත හැකිය.

නව අයදුම්කරුවන් උපදෙස් අංක 10.1 යටතේ සඳහන් ලේඛන, මුද්‍රිත අයදුම්පත සමඟ ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.

සේවාස්ථ උපදේශකවරුන්ගේ අයදුම්පත් අදාළ කලාප හෝ කොට්ඨාස අධ්‍යාපන අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයා විසින්ද, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල කථිකාචාර්යවරුන්ගේ අයදුම්පත් අදාළ ආයතන ප්‍රධානියා විසින්ද සහතික කළ යුතුය. එම අයදුම්පත්වල මුද්‍රිත පිටපත් අවසන් දිනට පෙර විභාග දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.

சேவைக்கால ஆசிரிய ஆலோசகர்களின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட வலய அல்லது கோட்டக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளரினால் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். பல்கலைக்கழக விரிவுரையாளர்களின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட நிறுவனத் தலைவரினால் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும்.

சேவைக்கால ஆசிரிய ஆலோசகர்கள் மற்றும் பல்கலைக்கழக விரிவுரையாளர்களின் விண்ணப்ப அச்சுப் பிரதிகள் இறுதித் திகதிக்கு முன்னர் பரீட்சைகள் திணைக்களத்திற்கு அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.
