The Department of Examinations has called online applications for marking examiners for the Dhamma School Final Certificate Examination 2026.

The completed online application must be downloaded. The Dhamma School Head Teacher must certify item No. 13, and a certified copy of the relevant teacher's Dhamma School timetable must be attached.

Applicants must provide accurate degree and professional qualification details. When a degree certificate is produced, the detailed certificate showing subjects and grades must also be submitted.

Important: Item No. 14 of the downloaded application must be completed accurately and certified by the Head of the Institution. The printed application and all certified supporting documents must be sent to the Department of Examinations by registered post. New marking examiners must attach certified copies proving their educational qualifications.

இணையவழியில் பூர்த்தி செய்த விண்ணப்பத்தைப் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து, அதன் 13ஆம் பகுதியை தம்ம பாடசாலை அதிபரால் உறுதிப்படுத்த வேண்டும். சம்பந்தப்பட்ட ஆசிரியரின் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட தம்ம பாடசாலை நேர அட்டவணையையும் இணைக்க வேண்டும்.

பதிவிறக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பத்தின் 14ஆம் பகுதியை நிறுவனத் தலைவர் சரியாகப் பூர்த்தி செய்து உறுதிப்படுத்த வேண்டும். விண்ணப்பம் மற்றும் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட ஆதார ஆவணங்கள் அனைத்தும் பதிவுத் தபால் மூலம் பரீட்சைகள் திணைக்களத்திற்கு அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.

Sri Lanka Law College has announced that admission cards for the Special Entrance Examination 2026 have been sent to candidates’ email addresses from:

specialentranceexam@sllc.ac.lk

If you have not received the admission card in your inbox, please check your Junk or Spam folder.

After receiving the admission card

Check your name, National Identity Card number and gender.
If any information is incorrect, visit the Sri Lanka Law College Office, Student Records or Entrance Examinations Unit to obtain a corrected admission card.
Alternatively, clearly complete Section B, detach it and hand it over to the invigilator on the examination date.
Print the admission card and have your signature certified as instructed.
Bring the certified admission card to the examination hall.

⚠️ Important Instructions

A valid identity card or identity document must be produced.
Candidates must arrive at least 15 minutes before the time stated on the admission card.
Answers must be written in the spaces provided on the question paper.
Re-scrutiny of answer scripts will not be permitted under any circumstances.
Notes, mobile phones, calculators and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

Open Competitive Examination 2026

English – Open Examination Qualifications

The applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
The applicant must be between 18 and 30 years of age as at 25 September 2026.
Eligible applicants should have been born on or before 25 September 2008 and on or after 25 September 1996.
Applicants must be of excellent character and possess adequate physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six subjects in one sitting, with credit passes in four subjects, including Language and Mathematics.
Applicants must have passed all subjects at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in one sitting, excluding the Common General Test and General English.
The language for which a credit pass was obtained at the O/L Examination should be the language medium selected for this competitive examination.
All required qualifications must have been completed on or before 25 September 2026.

සිංහල – විවෘත තරග විභාගයේ සුදුසුකම්

අයදුම්කරු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පුරවැසියකු විය යුතුය.
2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 25 දිනට වයස අවුරුදු 18ට නොඅඩු සහ අවුරුදු 30ට නොවැඩි විය යුතුය.
2008.09.25 දින හෝ ඊට පෙර සහ 1996.09.25 දින හෝ ඊට පසු උපන් අයට අයදුම් කළ හැකිය.
භාෂාව සහ ගණිතය ඇතුළුව විෂයයන් 4කට සම්මාන සාමාර්ථ සහිතව එක්වරකදී විෂයයන් 6කින් අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
සාමාන්‍ය පොදු පරීක්ෂණය සහ සාමාන්‍ය ඉංග්‍රීසි හැර, අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ සියලු විෂයයන්ගෙන් එක්වරකදී සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
සියලුම සුදුසුකම් 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 25 දින හෝ ඊට පෙර සම්පූර්ණ කර තිබිය යුතුය.

விண்ணப்பதாரி இலங்கைப் பிரஜையாக இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
25 செப்டம்பர் 2026 அன்று வயது 18க்கு குறையாமலும் 30க்கு மேற்படாமலும் இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
25.09.2008 அன்று அல்லது அதற்கு முன்னர் பிறந்தவராகவும், 25.09.1996 அன்று அல்லது அதற்குப் பின்னர் பிறந்தவராகவும் இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
மொழி மற்றும் கணிதம் உட்பட நான்கு பாடங்களில் திறமைச் சித்திகளுடன், ஒரே அமர்வில் ஆறு பாடங்களில் க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
பொதுச் சாதாரண பரீட்சை மற்றும் பொது ஆங்கிலம் தவிர, க.பொ.த. உயர்தரப் பரீட்சையின் அனைத்து பாடங்களிலும் ஒரே அமர்வில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
தேவையான அனைத்து தகைமைகளும் 25 செப்டம்பர் 2026 அன்று அல்லது அதற்கு முன்னர் பூர்த்தி செய்யப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.

Open Examination Selection

Selection will be based on the written examination, order of merit and the district population ratio, subject to the provisions contained in the official gazette notice. Applicants must carefully select the district under which they are eligible to compete.

Limited Competitive Examination 2026

English – Limited Examination Qualifications

This examination is only for permanent and confirmed officers in the Public Service who receive salaries under the Primary Level PL salary category or the MN 1-2025 salary code specified in Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025.
Officers of Provincial Public Services are not permitted to apply for this examination.
Applicants must have completed at least five years of active and satisfactory service in a permanent appointment by 25 September 2026.
Applicants must not have received a disciplinary punishment under the applicable provisions. This must be certified by the Head of the Department.
Applicants must have passed at least six subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in not more than two sittings, with two credit passes, including Language/Literature and Mathematics or an accepted Mathematics subject.
Applicants must be of excellent character and possess adequate physical and mental fitness to serve anywhere in Sri Lanka.
Temporary and casual Public Service employees and employees of boards, corporations and similar institutions are not eligible.
Employees engaged in semi-technical work or specially trained for a particular duty may not be eligible. Such applicants should obtain confirmation through their Head of Department before applying.
All qualifications must have been completed by 25 September 2026.

සිංහල – සීමිත තරග විභාගයේ සුදුසුකම්

මෙම විභාගය රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ ස්ථිර පත්වීම් දරන හා එම පත්වීම්වල ස්ථිර කර ඇති නිලධාරීන් සඳහා පමණි.
රාජ්‍ය පරිපාලන චක්‍රලේඛ අංක 10/2025 අනුව PL වැටුප් කාණ්ඩය හෝ MN 1-2025 වැටුප් කේතය යටතේ වැටුප් ලබන සුදුසුකම් සහිත නිලධාරීන්ට අයදුම් කළ හැකිය.
පළාත් රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ නිලධාරීන්ට අයදුම් කළ නොහැකිය.
2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 25 දිනට ස්ථිර පත්වීමක අවම වශයෙන් වසර 5ක සක්‍රීය හා සතුටුදායක සේවා කාලයක් සම්පූර්ණ කර තිබිය යුතුය.
දෙවරකට නොවැඩි වාර ගණනකදී භාෂාව/සාහිත්‍යය සහ ගණිතය ඇතුළුව අවම වශයෙන් විෂයයන් 6කින්, සම්මාන සාමාර්ථ 2ක් සහිතව අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
තාවකාලික හා අනියම් රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන් සහ මණ්ඩල, සංස්ථා හා සමාන ආයතනවල සේවකයන් මෙම විභාගයට සුදුසු නොවේ.
අවශ්‍ය සියලුම සුදුසුකම් 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 25 දිනට සම්පූර්ණ කර තිබිය යුතුය.

தமிழ் – மட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்ட பரீட்சைக்கான தகைமைகள்

அரச சேவையில் நிரந்தர நியமனம் பெற்று, அந்நியமனத்தில் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள உத்தியோகத்தர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே இந்தப் பரீட்சை உரியதாகும்.
பொது நிர்வாக சுற்றறிக்கை இலக்கம் 10/2025இன் கீழ் ஆரம்ப மட்ட PL சம்பளப் பிரிவு அல்லது MN 1-2025 சம்பளக் குறியீட்டின் கீழ் சம்பளம் பெறும் தகுதியுடைய உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.
மாகாண அரச சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் இந்தப் பரீட்சைக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்க அனுமதிக்கப்படமாட்டார்கள்.
25 செப்டம்பர் 2026 அன்று நிரந்தர நியமனத்தில் குறைந்தது ஐந்து வருட செயற்பாட்டுடனான திருப்திகரமான சேவையைப் பூர்த்தி செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
இரண்டு அமர்வுகளுக்கு மேற்படாத வகையில் மொழி/இலக்கியம் மற்றும் கணிதம் உட்பட குறைந்தது ஆறு பாடங்களில், இரண்டு திறமைச் சித்திகளுடன் க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் சித்தியடைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
தற்காலிக மற்றும் அமைய அரச ஊழியர்கள், சபைகள், கூட்டுத்தாபனங்கள் மற்றும் அதுபோன்ற நிறுவனங்களின் ஊழியர்கள் தகுதியற்றவர்கள்.
தேவையான அனைத்து தகைமைகளும் 25 செப்டம்பர் 2026 அன்று பூர்த்தி செய்யப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.

Important for Government Officers

A copy of the submitted application should be handed over to the Head of the Institution for inclusion in the personal file. When called for the interview, a certified copy of the application and a letter confirming the applicant’s service must be produced.

Examination and Appointment Details

The examination will be conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English.
A candidate may answer in only one selected language medium and must answer all papers in that same medium.
The online application must be completed in the English language.
The examination fee is Rs. 600 and should be paid using a payment method provided through the online application system.
The salary scale is Rs. 48,470 – 10×540 – 11×630 – 10×1,010 – 10×1,190 – Rs. 82,800 under salary code MN 2-2025.
The post is permanent and pensionable, subject to the applicable government rules.
Selected candidates may be appointed to any part of Sri Lanka and will generally be required to serve at the first appointed station for at least three years.

About the Examination

Applications are invited for the Efficiency Bar Examinations for Authorized Officers serving in Grade I and Grade II of the Department of Immigration and Emigration.

The examinations will be conducted in Colombo during 2026 by the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration, commonly known as SLIDA.

Eligible officers may sit all prescribed subjects at one sitting or sit individual subjects separately.

Application Procedure

Prepare the application according to the specimen form included in the Gazette notification.
The application must be prepared using both sides of an A4-size paper.
Sections 01 to 07 should appear on the first page, with the remaining sections on the second page.
Applications may be typed or clearly completed in the applicant’s own handwriting.
Applications must be forwarded through the relevant Sectional Head.
Applications must be sent by registered post or handed over directly to the relevant officer at the Administration Branch.

The examination will be conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English. All prescribed subjects must be answered in the same language medium. Changing the selected language medium after submitting the application will not be permitted.

📢 Notice for School Principals

The Department of Examinations has issued instructions regarding the online submission of School-Based Assessment (SBA) marks for Grade 12 and Grade 13 students appearing for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2026.

Principals should access the online portal using the username and password provided to their schools and complete the required registration and mark-submission process.

Complete the submission before 07 August 2026

Log in using the username and password issued to the school.
Select G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2026 SBA Marks.
Enter the Grade 12 and Grade 13 School-Based Assessment marks accurately.
Verify the student details and marks carefully before final submission.
Complete the online process before the stipulated deadline.

The marks entered through the online system will be used for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2026. Therefore, principals and relevant teachers must ensure that all information is checked and submitted accurately.

📅 Examination Period

10 August – 05 September 2026

The G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2026 is scheduled to be conducted during the above period.

✏️ Amendment Deadline

03 August 2026 – 12.00 Midnight

Online corrections to eligible admission-card information must be completed before this deadline.

🏫 Admission Cards for School Candidates

Admission cards have been sent to the respective Zonal Education Offices.
School principals should collect them from the officer responsible for examinations at the relevant Zonal Education Office.
Principals should distribute the admission cards to candidates without delay.
School candidates may also obtain their admission cards through their respective schools.

👤 Admission Cards for Private Candidates

Admission cards have been sent by post to candidates’ personal addresses.
Private candidates can download their admission cards online from 24 July 2026.
Candidates who have not received or cannot download the admission card should contact the Department of Examinations.
When visiting the Department, take a copy of the submitted application and proof of examination-fee payment.

⚠️ Admission Card Amendments

Corrections relating to the candidate’s subject, medium or name must be submitted online.

Only one amendment attempt is permitted.
Examination centres cannot be changed.
The amendment facility closes at 12.00 midnight on 03 August 2026.

Candidates must produce one valid identification document:

Valid driving licence

🚫 Prohibited Items and Examination Rules

Mobile phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Violations may result in confiscation of devices and an examination ban of up to five years.
Candidates must keep their faces and ears clearly visible throughout the examination.
Impersonation, possessing notes, receiving unauthorised assistance and misconduct are punishable offences.
Government-school students are not permitted to sit the examination as private candidates.

🧮 Calculator Notice: Non-programmable standard calculators are permitted only for Accounting, Engineering Technology, Biosystems Technology and Science for Technology.

The Department of Examinations has invited eligible teachers and teacher advisers to submit online applications for selection as answer script examiners for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2026.

Applicants should carefully check their eligibility, service information, subject details and marking-centre preferences before submitting the application.

Applications submitted by teachers must be checked, recommended and forwarded online by the principal or the relevant authorized officer.

Who Can Apply?

✓ Applicants must presently be serving in an institution under the Ministry of Education.

✓ Teachers with primary teacher training, National College of Education primary training or an accepted degree may apply.

✓ The teacher should presently be engaged in teaching a class from Grade 3 to Grade 5.

✓ The teacher should have more than three years of service.

✓ Officers of the Teacher Adviser Service connected with the primary education curriculum who have participated in previous Grade 5 Scholarship Examination evaluation work may also apply.

Important Application Instructions

1 If the service-experience information displayed under Step 02 is incorrect, complete Annexure 01 and forward it to the specified address.

2 When completing items 12 and 13 under Step 02, clearly select “Yes” or “No”. Incomplete applications may be rejected.

3 The relevant subject or field must be entered under Step 04, such as Primary, Science or Mathematics.

4 Family members include the applicant’s children, grandchildren, siblings, spouse’s siblings, and their children or grandchildren.

5 Teachers’ applications must be checked, recommended and forwarded online by the school principal.

6 Select only two marking cities nearest to the applicant’s official working address. A second choice must also be provided.

7 A marking centre may not be established in a city if an adequate number of applications is not received.

8 If a suitable panel or vacancy is unavailable at the selected cities, the applicant may be assigned to another nearby marking centre.

9 Complete all required sections except item 15 and submit the application to the principal or head of the institution.

10 Applicants should carefully review all entered information before final submission. Incorrect information may affect selection.

Confidential assessment: The certifying officer should assess the applicant under the relevant sections using A – Excellent, B – Good, C – Average or W – Weak.

Postal Submission When Required

New applicants, applicants who are not school teachers and experienced applicants whose online information is incorrect may be required to forward the application with certified supporting documents.

முன்னைய தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சை மதிப்பீட்டுப் பணிகளில் பங்கேற்ற, ஆரம்பக் கல்விப் பாடத்திட்டத்துடன் தொடர்புடைய ஆசிரியர் ஆலோசகர்களும் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். ஆசிரியர்களின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் அதிபரால் பரிசீலிக்கப்பட்டு, பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டு இணையவழியில் அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.

விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தமது கடமை முகவரிக்கு அண்மையிலுள்ள இரண்டு மதிப்பீட்டு நகரங்களைத் தெரிவு செய்ய வேண்டும். இரண்டாவது தெரிவும் கட்டாயமாகும்.
