📢 GIT Examination 2026 – Admission Cards
The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has issued important instructions to school principals regarding the General Information Technology (GIT) Examination 2026.
The examination is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 24 October 2026, from 9.00 AM to 12.10 PM.
Candidates can obtain their individual admission cards through the official Department of Examinations online service.
School principals are required to check candidates' admission card details and make necessary amendments through the official school login system.
🏫 Important Instructions for School Principals
- Access the official examination online system using the school account credentials.
- Check candidates' names, examination details and other information carefully.
- Identify any errors or discrepancies in the admission card information.
- Submit necessary amendments online before the specified deadline.
- Ensure that all candidates receive their admission cards and instructions before the examination.
- Inform candidates about the examination date, time, examination centre and examination regulations.
- Candidates must follow the instructions issued by the Department of Examinations.
⚠️ Important – Admission Card Amendments
The online amendment facility for GIT Examination 2026 admission cards will be available until:
21 October 2026 – 4.00 PM
School principals should complete all required corrections before the deadline.
Late requests and changes after the specified deadline may not be accepted.

- Verify the candidate's admission card details before the examination.
- Bring the required admission card and identity documents.
- Arrive at the examination centre with sufficient time before the examination.
- Follow the instructions of examination supervisors.
- Mobile phones, smart electronic devices and unauthorised communication devices must not be taken into the examination hall.
- Candidates must comply with the Department of Examinations regulations.

විභාග ප්රවේශ පත්ර නිල වෙබ් අඩවිය ඔස්සේ ලබාගත හැකිය.
ප්රවේශ පත්රවල තොරතුරු පරීක්ෂා කර අවශ්ය සංශෝධන පාසල් පිවිසුම මගින් සිදු කළ යුතුය.
සංශෝධන සිදු කළ හැකි අවසාන දිනය: 2026.10.21 ප.ව. 4.00

பொதுத் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பப் (GIT) பரீட்சை 2026 ஒக்டோபர் 24 ஆம் திகதி சனிக்கிழமை மு.ப. 9.00 மணி முதல் பி.ப. 12.10 மணி வரை நடைபெறும்.
பரீட்சார்த்திகள் தங்களது அனுமதி அட்டைகளை பரீட்சைத் திணைக்களத்தின் உத்தியோகபூர்வ இணையத்தளத்தின் ஊடாகப் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்துகொள்ளலாம்.
அனுமதி அட்டைகளில் திருத்தங்கள் இருப்பின் பாடசாலை அதிபர்கள் உத்தியோகபூர்வ பாடசாலை உள்நுழைவு முறையின் ஊடாக திருத்தங்களை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
அனுமதி அட்டை திருத்தங்களுக்கான இறுதித் திகதி: 21.10.2026 பி.ப. 4.00 மணி.
