The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka has issued an important notice regarding the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination 2026 – Practical Examination for Home Economics (Subject No. 28).

Admission Cards

According to the Department of Examinations, arrangements have been made to conduct the practical examination for candidates who sat for the written examination.

Admission cards of school candidates will be sent to the relevant school principals, while admission cards of private candidates will be sent by post to the addresses provided in their applications.

Candidates who have not received their admission cards can download them through the official Department of Examinations online system from 07 October 2026.

Note: Candidates are advised to carefully check the date, time and examination centre shown on their admission card and attend the examination accordingly.

විභාග දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් අ.පො.ස. (උසස් පෙළ) විභාගය 2026 – ගෘහ ආර්ථික විද්‍යාව (විෂය අංක 28) ප්‍රායෝගික පරීක්ෂණය සම්බන්ධයෙන් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර ඇත.

ප්‍රායෝගික පරීක්ෂණය 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් 10 සිට 20 දක්වා දිවයින පුරා පිහිටි පරීක්ෂණ මධ්‍යස්ථාන 44කදී පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු යොදා ඇත.

இச்செய்முறைப் பரீட்சை 2026 அக்டோபர் 10 முதல் 20 வரை நாடளாவிய ரீதியில் அமைந்துள்ள 44 பரீட்சை நிலையங்களில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

பாடசாலைப் பரீட்சார்த்திகளின் அனுமதி அட்டைகள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பாடசாலை அதிபர்களுக்கும், தனிப்பட்ட பரீட்சார்த்திகளின் அனுமதி அட்டைகள் அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தில் வழங்கிய முகவரிக்கும் அனுப்பப்படும்.

அனுமதி அட்டை கிடைக்கப்பெறாத பரீட்சார்த்திகள் 2026.10.07 முதல் பரீட்சைத் திணைக்களத்தின் இணையவழி சேவையின் மூலம் தமது அனுமதி அட்டையை பதிவிறக்கம் செய்துகொள்ளலாம்.

Admission Cards & Candidate Instructions

Admission cards and timetables for school candidates will be sent to the relevant school principals.
Admission cards for private candidates will be sent to the address stated in the application.
Candidates who have not received an admission card may download it online from seven days before the relevant practical test begins.
Read every instruction on the admission card carefully and report to the stated examination centre on time.
For any discrepancy, promptly contact the School Examinations Organization and Results Branch.

නර්තනය, සංගීතය, නාට්‍ය හා රංග කලාව, ඉංජිනේරු තාක්ෂණවේදය, ගෘහ ආර්ථික විද්‍යාව සහ ජෛව පද්ධති තාක්ෂණවේදය යන විෂයන්ට අදාළ ප්‍රායෝගික පරීක්ෂණ 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 24 සිට ඔක්තෝබර් 21 දක්වා විෂය අනුව පැවැත්වේ.

The downloaded admission card must be signed and certified by the Director of Education.

🇬🇧 Admission Card Notice – English

Sri Lanka Law College has announced that admission cards for the Special Entrance Examination 2026 have been sent to candidates’ email addresses from:

specialentranceexam@sllc.ac.lk

If you have not received the admission card in your inbox, please check your Junk or Spam folder.

After receiving the admission card

Check your name, National Identity Card number and gender.
If any information is incorrect, visit the Sri Lanka Law College Office, Student Records or Entrance Examinations Unit to obtain a corrected admission card.
Alternatively, clearly complete Section B, detach it and hand it over to the invigilator on the examination date.
Print the admission card and have your signature certified as instructed.
Bring the certified admission card to the examination hall.

⚠️ Important Instructions

A valid identity card or identity document must be produced.
Candidates must arrive at least 15 minutes before the time stated on the admission card.
Answers must be written in the spaces provided on the question paper.
Re-scrutiny of answer scripts will not be permitted under any circumstances.
Notes, mobile phones, calculators and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍රය මුද්‍රණය කර, දක්වා ඇති පරිදි අත්සන සහතික කර විභාග ශාලාවට රැගෙන යන්න.
වලංගු හැඳුනුම්පතක් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම අනිවාර්ය වන අතර අවම වශයෙන් විනාඩි 15කට පෙර විභාග ස්ථානයට පැමිණිය යුතුය.

அனுமதி அட்டையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள பெயர், தேசிய அடையாள அட்டை இலக்கம் மற்றும் பால் விபரங்களைச் சரிபார்க்கவும்.
தவறுகள் இருப்பின் சட்டக் கல்லூரியின் மாணவர் பதிவுகள்/நுழைவுப் பரீட்சைப் பிரிவுக்குச் சென்று அவற்றைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ளலாம்.
அல்லது B பிரிவைத் தெளிவாகப் பூர்த்தி செய்து, அதனைப் பிரித்து பரீட்சை தினத்தன்று மேற்பார்வையாளரிடம் ஒப்படைக்கவும்.
அனுமதி அட்டையை அச்சிட்டு, அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டவாறு கையொப்பத்தை அத்தாட்சிப்படுத்தி பரீட்சை மண்டபத்திற்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லவும்.
செல்லுபடியாகும் அடையாள அட்டையைக் கட்டாயமாக சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும். குறிக்கப்பட்ட நேரத்திற்கு குறைந்தது 15 நிமிடங்களுக்கு முன்னர் வருகை தரவும்.

Admission Cards, Online Amendments and Important Instructions

Department of Examinations – Sri Lanka

📅 Examination Period

10 August – 05 September 2026

The G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2026 is scheduled to be conducted during the above period.

✏️ Amendment Deadline

03 August 2026 – 12.00 Midnight

Online corrections to eligible admission-card information must be completed before this deadline.

🏫 Admission Cards for School Candidates

Admission cards have been sent to the respective Zonal Education Offices.
School principals should collect them from the officer responsible for examinations at the relevant Zonal Education Office.
Principals should distribute the admission cards to candidates without delay.
School candidates may also obtain their admission cards through their respective schools.

👤 Admission Cards for Private Candidates

Admission cards have been sent by post to candidates’ personal addresses.
Private candidates can download their admission cards online from 24 July 2026.
Candidates who have not received or cannot download the admission card should contact the Department of Examinations.
When visiting the Department, take a copy of the submitted application and proof of examination-fee payment.

⚠️ Admission Card Amendments

Corrections relating to the candidate’s subject, medium or name must be submitted online.

Only one amendment attempt is permitted.
Examination centres cannot be changed.
The amendment facility closes at 12.00 midnight on 03 August 2026.

🪪 Accepted Identification Documents

Candidates must produce one valid identification document:

National Identity Card
Valid passport
Valid driving licence

🚫 Prohibited Items and Examination Rules

Mobile phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Violations may result in confiscation of devices and an examination ban of up to five years.
Candidates must keep their faces and ears clearly visible throughout the examination.
Impersonation, possessing notes, receiving unauthorised assistance and misconduct are punishable offences.
Government-school students are not permitted to sit the examination as private candidates.

🧮 Calculator Notice: Non-programmable standard calculators are permitted only for Accounting, Engineering Technology, Biosystems Technology and Science for Technology.

Examination timetable and admission card notice for qualified candidates

🗓️ The examination will be held on 25 and 26 July and 1 and 2 August 2026.

The Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka has announced the timetable and admission card arrangements for the July 2026 Examination. The examination will be conducted in morning and afternoon sessions across several cities.

🪪 How to Obtain a Duplicate Admission Card

Candidates who have not received their admission cards should obtain a duplicate from the AAT Examinations Division or one of the specified AAT branches.

Dates: 21 and 22 July 2026
Time: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Required documents: AAT student registration card and National Identity Card

Duplicate admission cards can be obtained from the AAT Centre or AAT branches in Kurunegala, Matara, Kandy, Ratnapura, Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Ampara and Gampaha.

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has issued a special notice regarding the Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service – 2025. Applicants who completed the online application and paid the examination fee before the deadline, but failed to send the certified printed copy to the Department of Examinations, are given another opportunity to submit their applications before 15 May 2026.

Special Notice for Applicants Who Did Not Receive Admission Cards

Important Announcement

According to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, applicants who completed the online application for the Sri Lanka Principals’ Service Grade III Limited Competitive Examination – 2025 within the prescribed period, but failed to send the certified printed copy to the Department of Examinations before the closing date, and therefore did not receive admission cards, are given another opportunity to submit their applications.

No new applications will be accepted.
This opportunity is only for applicants who completed the online application and paid the examination fee on or before 02 January 2026.
Applicants must possess the printed copy of their application.
The printed application must be certified by the Head of the Institution.
The application should be sent via Registered Post.
